Want to be a record breaker? Think you are the ultimate Guitar Hero? Join us on the 6th February for the Guinness World Record Guitar Hero Marathon Relay between the UK, US, Canada, Australia and France to celebrate the launch of the new Guinness World Record Gamers Edition!

I love gaming to death, but a Guinness World Record book for gamers? Are the folks at Guinness that short on ideas and that desperate? Though I guess having a consolidated list of all the crazy things that people did for games would be entertaining to read...
I wonder what are its categories, I bet there is a category:
"The longest continuous game playing without dying or getting hospitalized afterwards" Edit: Okay now I feel ashamed for this speculation of mine... Death of a person is always a sad thing and should NOT be indirectly joked at, sorry
edit: looks like they have the book previewed on their site, still though, what categories would you guys like to see?

Decisions are just decisions, there are neither "good" or "bad"

Yeah, but if you set off the bomb in Megaton you are rewarded with a parking lot!

Location: I've come to love this American giant, viewing it as the most misunderstood, most underrated city in the world.

I'd rather see World Record: Gamers and Guinness Edition. Some sort of massive Gears and Beers tourney with mandatory drink minimums.

Elysium: The democratization of the web ... has installed an illusion of a digital first amendment that protects speech no matter how poorly spelled or stupid.

I went to the launch event for this book in London last night and was one of the team of 6 who set the current World Record for 'highest score by a team of 6 playing one song on Guitar Hero'

127,000 ish on Beast and the Harlot on expert, 5 players on each coloured button and one on the strummer.

Yes, this is a silly record and yes, I expect it to be beaten before next years book is released but at least I have my certificate and moment of glory
