The 2007 GWJ Community Game of the Year Awards!
Alrighty guys time for another round of GOTY voting fun.
The rules are simple, vote for your top 10 favorite games this year, in order, and each vote is given a score. So the number one game you voted for gets 10 points, the number 2 gets 9 and so forth down the list. You can vote for less then 10 games, but not more.
Anything goes, if it released this year, go ahead and vote for it, regardless of territory. About the only thing I'd not want to see would be Wii VC ROM dumps.
Also, it appears most people prefer to look at The Orange Box as 3 separate games, so if you vote for that, pick the individual components, not the package as a whole.

Unfortunately, my gaming budget was rather restricted this year (kids are expensive!) so I haven't had a chance to play COD4 or Forza2 yet. Looking back on this past year for me, I'm very thankful to have Catan & Peggle around to get my gaming fix in when my son is rampaging around the living room.

Some things are worth mentioning:
I judge my games, by how much time, I spent playing them. If they are good enough to have me waste hours at a time, and keep me coming back then they're probably on the list. With that in mind, GH2 should have been #1 on the list, but the ones above it are sure to keep me busy far longer than even GH2 did (that and Portal is wins by default).
World in Conflict: probably GOTY, but too much stuff for me to chew on before I even consider trying it.
Halo 3: was fun, but I actually think 2 was a better game. It's collecting dust somewhere and is close of being put up for sale.
