ET: Quake Wars - anybody still playing?

I didn't feel like thread necromancy so I thought I'd create a new topic. Just picked it up on Boxing Day at Best Buy for $30 and have played about 10 hours in two days (thanks holidays!). Wow, it's polished good and I guess the lack of huge popularity is keeping the asshattery to a minimum even on pub servers. Pretty impressed actually and I have a virtual stack of other titles I got for Christmas to even open so kudos to Splash Damage.
Anybody still playing?

Oops, didn't realize what I posted on the Beta forum wasn't in sync here, so what I wrote earlier...
I still love it. I play intermittently what with my 18-month old running around here, but feel free to 'friend me up'. My nick is mono in ETQW, and monofurioso in Steam Community. Just msg me that you're from GWJ if you send me a friend request, and I'll keep an eye out for you online.
I am waiting for them to fix the Steam version and then I will be playing again.

I just got this with my new video card but haven't bothered installing it due to TF2- I'll try to get it loaded and get with the program.

It looks like a significant update/patch is coming soon. Better server browsing tools, a more customizable HUD and a training mode seem to be the main parts of this.
It's been a while since I played so I jumped in with some bots to ease back in today. I'm almost reluctant to jump back online but I'd be happy to play with any GWJers anytime.

Yes and yes. They just released an enormous patch which includes an enhanced server browser and a fantastic new tutorial mode which makes the game quite a bit more accessible to newcomers (i.e. me). I've yet to take it online but the few botmatches I've had time to run have been very enjoyable.

Just downloaded the 1.4 patch and jumped right back into multiplayer after a couple of weeks off. Awesome as ever.
