The comments on Fletcher's great TechTV post-mortem foxhole tale got me thinking about some of the really compelling things I've read on the Internet and that it would be interesting to share collections.

LiquidMantis, you're first two links don't appear to be working. I think I've seen both of them before, if the roommate one is the one I think, it's pretty gross.
The street sweeper link was really good. I'd suggest the Blank Top Chronicles and Waiter Rant (the early stuff at least, it's a really good read).

The Story of Mel. In an odd twist, I worked for several years with the daughter of the guy who wrote it. Note that originally it was not in free-verse layout, people just think it works better that way (how very Beat of them!)
