The Cover of The Rolling Stone

Has anyone seen the latest cover with The Mighty Led Zeppelin on it. Prepare for the lamentation of the women...

I am not one of those guys who demands that everything remains static. I get it, the world keeps turning, but this is too much of a reminder about how everything good eventually spoils.
I don't know which is more of a shock, this or when Page let Diddy taint their best song forever.

Eeeks!
At least they look better than The Stones. A lot better.
I wouldn't say spoiled..really...what are they like 60 now? I wish I could look that good at 60!!! They clearly do not need the money, and are doing what they are doing for the love of the music.
The key to victory is to not suck as bad as the other side.
Led Zepplin lost the war on drugs? Which side were they on, again?

Plant and Jones are looking pretty damn good. Page kinda looks like my Aunt and/or Grandmother.

The funny thing about John Paul Jones' picture is that if I passed him on the street I wouldn't look twice. He looks so...pedestrian.
It must be odd for him to walk around present day relatively unnoticed, until he buys something with a credit card or something and it reads, "John Paul Jones". I can just imagine it:
"You're John Paul Jones?! The John Paul Jones?"
Or another scenario:
JPJ at a random retailer: "Excuse me, could I get some help please?"
Disgruntled employee: Who are you, buddy?
JPJ: "Ever heard of Led Zeppelin?"
...........
Bizarre.
Okay, that was just awesome.
Must have been an armistice judging by how well they look.

I have to admit I don't really care about Led Zeppelin (or how they currently look) but the other cover article deserves a read.

Agreed.
They really dont look all that bad for their age. The only one that really surprised me was Page with his gray hair, I hadn't seen that yet. He still looks pretty damn good though, unlike Eddie Van Halen, who's about eleven years younger.

They actually look almost distinguished. Much different than the Stones!

Hey now, Eddie had cancer back then, and he's cleaned up now and looks pretty fit for his age. Probably more fit than even some people half his age.

I can't get over Page's white hair. Plant still looks like he's got the charisma, though.

Oh. Yeah. I guess I hope they are all fakes then.

Check out the new collaboration between Plant and Alison Krauss. Sounds crazy, but it's produced by T Bone Burnett, and it's really good.

Yeah, the Plant/Krauss CD is beautiful music. Here's a good video that has the 2 of them talking about the project.

Read the whole article. It's a really great piece.
Also, yeah, they look pretty good for 60ish, certainly not nearly as leathery as Keith Richards, and they've never stopped doing what they loved. If Bonham the younger is mature enough to take his daddy's seat, I say hallelujah.
I couldn't possibly afford to go to the concert, but I'm gladdened that they're doing it.

Looks like the first US concert will be at Bonnaroo, the four-day, multi-stage camping festival held on a 700-acre farm in Manchester, Tennessee during June.

Check out the videos from their reunion concert. That guy sings as good as ever. Man, I so hope they will have a reunion tour somewhere around here. Besides, they really matured through the years. There is some amazing stuff on CDs Page and Plant have done together.
It's not Wandering Toast. Except in TF2, where it usually is.
