What songs would you add to Rock Band?

I just got rock band Friday and it's great (except for my drums don't work, curse them!). I was driving along today and I was wondering what songs you guys would add to Rock Band if you could.

Personally, I would love to see Modest Mouse's We've Got Everything in there. The guitar, bass, and drums in this song are great and the vocals are almost understandable (which, if you've heard Modest Mouse's vocals, is rare). I think it would just be really fun to play.

So in conclusion, what songs would you add to Rock Band?

I don't have it yet (Canada ) but I think Under the Bridge, by The Red Hot Chili Peppers would be a nice choice.

Well, maybe the problems will be fixed by then so you wont have to worry about anything breaking.

Metallica - Ecstasy of Gold
Yes - Almost anything they've done
Rush - 2112, really test the stamina
Led Zeppelin - Immigrant Song, In the Evening, Ramble On
Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here

I agree with everything on that list (well mostly, I'm not sure I've heard Ecstasy of Gold). 2112 would be hard for pretty much everything in Rock Band. It'd be fun.

Yes, Yes, Yes. I'll also add Beyond this Life from Scenes from a Memory.
And, for the sake of comedy, Six Degrees of Separation (its funny because it is a 45ish minute song).

When i think of songs i want to add to rock band, I always think of songs that I'd have a blast playing with a group of my friends.

Someone already mentioned Banditos by The Refreshments

To that, I'd add
Georgia Satellites - Keep your hands to yourself
Bob Seger - Old time Rock and Roll
Bon Jovi - Living on a Prayer
Def Leppard - Pour Some Sugar on Me

SpaceHog - In the meantime

This was just played on the radio this morning and I dont' think there's ever been a more perfect Rock Band song. Fun Bass runs, a great guitar solo at the end, and fun vocals and drums.

I would also like to see some more Canadian stuff in there:

Big Sugar : On The Scene
Tragically hip: New Orleans is Sinking
Priestess: Lay Down (yeah I know it's in GH3, it's just such a mad awsome track)

I mostly listen to modern rock and metal. But for just fun, they should probably add a bunch of classic rock. Stuff everyone knows.

I think anything from As Cities Burn's new CD would be awesome. Lots of good guitar on that one.

I have a friend who will come over and play the drums, but he would never pick up the game because he prefers country music above all else. I bet with good selection of Country Music DLC they could get a lot more newcomers on board.

But back on topic
I'd also like to see anything from The Mighty Mighty Bosstones

Hmm I don't have this game, and probably would never afford it if I want to live in a house sometime soon, but..

Three Days, Mountain Song - Jane's Addiction
The World Keeps Turning- Napalm Death
Vote With A Bullet- Corrosion of Conformity
10001110101- Clutch
She Caught the Katy- Blues Brothers soundtrack recording
Flight of the Bumblebee- Great Kat version
Passion and Warfare- Steve Vai

Of course, I would say some Type O Negative or Dream Theater, but I think that might require the keyboard expansion. Seeing how N.I.B. is there, that's gotta be awesome!

Ecstasy of Gold would be fun. Listening to it right now. Making people belt the "Hey" or whatever he is doing at the beginning would be great.

And the chance to relive my twenties through mid-nineties Indie (so probably dubious choices for a game called Rock Band):

Hey, I was going to say those last two. It's almost like we had talked about this very thing earlier this week!

But yeah, the rest of the Blue Album would be very much appreciated.

A few other thoughts:

More David Bowie.
More Stone Temple Pilots.
Some Zepplin.
Some Queen.
Some Pink Floyd.
Some Hendrix.
Some Guns and Roses.
Some Beatles (I know, fat chance.)
More Creedence Clearwater Revival.
Some Coldplay.
Some Muse.
Some Cure (Disintegration/Wish era, preferably).
Some Goldfinger.
Some Greenday.
Some No Doubt (late 90s only though, thanks).
More Smashing Pumpkins (the rest of Siamese Dream would do nicely, I think).
More Chili Peppers.
Some Jane's Addiction.
More Foo Fighters
Some Social Distortion.
Some of the better songs from GH1 and GH2 -- I read somewhere that Harmonix probably has the ability to reuse some of their cover versions from those games, and there were some good songs on there. Grab the Kansas, the Skynard, and the Dick Dale for sure, and hell, grab the songs by all the artists mentioned above while you're at it.

Both suggestions are absolutely brilliant. The only problem with HC is that you need like 6 guitars to do it right.

I've been trying to think of the best Journey song that isn't mostly keyboard, and I think it's "Any Way You Want It." That would be great. Anything by Metallica that's old enough to vote would also be great.
More green and blue album Weezer would be fantastic. I don't mind telling you that I scream out Say It Ain't So with everything I've got and I love it. No one else in the room does, but oh well. I saw Buddy Holly is to be released in a week and a half, though.
More Blue Oyster Cult! Bring back Godzilla and add Kick out the Jams and Burnin' For You and Cities on Flame.
More, better Rage Against the Machine.
Every Little Thing She Does is Magic by the Police is my favorite song of theirs and is a fantastic cover band song at bars.

As for newish stuff, I'd like to see some Breaking Benjamin and Three Days Grace. Yeah, they're not the most complicated or creative musicings ever. But they're fun to sing along with in the car, so I bet they'd be fun to play as a group.
