I browsed the forums and they have a quote from Blizz about the Patch 2.3 being on Nov.13, and LIKELY the S3 will begin one week later. So patch date is set, Arena Season 3 is hopeful for the 20th.

Thank god! That 1% crit is crap in comparison to 5 pts in Expertise (for the record, this means 1.25% decrease to enemy parry AND dodge on your attacks, so 2.5% hit versus 1% crit). For human pallies, this is wicked, since we also get 3% hit and another +5 expertise through talents.
Ergo, a mob that would have 5% dodge, 5% parry and your own 5% miss effectively being 15% you not hitting becomes 2.5% dodge, 2.5% parry and 2% miss or only 7% not hitting. This is just awesomeness deserving a hero cookie!

Only seen Legacy drop once..and troll won the roll.
Wolf rifle has not dropped yet...and totally giving up on the 2....going 2 1H and working on the S1 crossbow..using the vets musket now from HH exaulted...and my DPS is totally insane with BS spec and my gear...

They just reduced Aimed Shot from 3.5 sec cast to 3 sec. cast, as well as leaving the Mortal Strike effect and also dropping the diminishing returns on silence effects. Which really mad me sad since I like using Silencing Shot.

Sigh...how I miss the Mark spec'ed days with silencing shot and scatter.
BUT super yah to the new hunter improvements in 2.3
1. Aimed Shot (Marksmanship) now reduces healing done to that target by 50% for 10 seconds.
2. Arcane Shot (Ranks 6 and above) now dispel 1 Magic effect in addition to their normal damage.
3. increased damage on traps related to your attack power.

Before 1.8 patch I was able to cast Aimed Shot while Shadowmelded. That is the true nature of a Hunter striking the target from a distance before they even know he is there.
I always kill hunter pets, even if I don't have to. Bwahahahahahaha! The best is casting Unstable Affliction on a hunter's pet and having Improved Mend Pet, well, blow up the pet trying to dispel it
