WoW BHA Kara run 11/6-11/12

Ok boys and girls, Krindle cannot run this week so he left it up to me to main tank. Problem is I will not be able to run anything this weekend (Fri 11/9-Sun 11/11). I will be available Tues, Wed, Thurs, and Mon night to tank. I am putting out a lifeline here for help here.
#1. First night will probably be Tuesday, so we need another tank for that. Volunteers? If we have 2 sufficiently geared volunteers that works too I can do something else. 
#2. What night do you guys want to go after Curator/?. I do not think any other tank in the guild is up to holding him so it will have to be me. I have Wed/Thurs/Monday available. I was thinking Thursday since we will still have Monday to give him another shot or go after another boss/event (Chess, Aran, Illhoof, whatever).
So here is the sign up list for Tuesday/Thursday. If Thursday turns out to be a dead night then we can try Wed or save it for Monday (Unless someone else wants to tank the big bad robot).

Tuesday and Wednesday will see me busy with preparations for my trip to the UK on Thursday. I'll do what I can to find internet access from across the pond, but I think it's safe to say I'm effectively out of the game until I return on the 17th.

I have no problem for Tuesday and Thursday. Those 2 days plus Monday for Shade/chess or farther is a good plan. Let's do this and get past shade this week.

While I am unavailable Tuesday night and leading up to the weekend (packing Thursday, heading to Edmonton to be back Monday). I might actually be available on the Monday night depending on how the week turns out for you guys
You can probably toss me down as an alt for monday to fill a tanking slot if you need.

You know, I saw 31 GWJ people on this weekend at one point, 23 were 70s. Amazing numbers, really, and that certainly wasn't with everyone on.

I'm also out, couldn't run until Sunday at the earliest. BTW I would like a shot at Curator one of these days, even if we keep Vil or Krin in the wings in case it turns out I'm not quite ready, but I've been uncrushable for weeks and I'm at 10.4k hp unbuffed, dying for a 5 of Furies to make that about 11k.
So that's Krin, me, and Sun out as far as a second tank for Tuesday.

Rule of 3: While it hasn't been stated openly, we've considered a boss on farm with 3 consecutive successful killings in a row. We're now sitting at two with consistent members showing up, both on the first shot. With one more week, I think you'd be able to take a shot in the future. I would suggest logging out one of these days in your Prot gear though, just so I can take a looksy and see what kind of troubles you're likely to face

With all the new additions, it will be nice when we can get a 2nd group rolling along through Kara. I know Aesildur would love to get past the first day's runs someday, but seems unlikely to be any time soon being the 5th healer (at best, if Vil, Ter, etc., don't respec for various runs).
I can't wait to see what 2.3 brings! I got over 50 badges saved up so far... although this week will be a lost one for adding more.
Arena also has me tempted to respec shadow for fun.
But, man, that was a lot of work getting my healing numbers where they are. Not sure I want to start over again on +sp_dam (although I am building up a decent set of purples/blues for DPS just doing heroics with no other clothies - but at +700 spell damage, that's a long ways off from where I should be).

Well ill probably be respeccing to ret soon, untill needed as a healer again. So 4th healer.
Until we have a week where we have 2 experienced Main Tank (Krindle & Vilius) able to run in tandem past the first night, we'll probably see a single raid sign up. That being said, I *think* Az is getting close to being able to handle leading night #2 at the reigns.
We're getting there people, but lets make sure we don't throw people into things that are only going to cost them gold and frustration.

That's true, Luna. I suppose that's the problem with a growing guild. You get bottlenecks and then you end up with 15 people competing for 1 or 2 openings. I honestly considered moving Sunseeker back into the day 1 mix and then taking Aes off to run with others since he's an unnecessary asset for GWJ. The only problem with that is that I'd have to go back to the all-or-nothing grind in instances no one wants to run anymore to get Sunseeker's numbers up. Aes has numbers past Kara, Sun's are still pre-Kara despite more effort put to it.

Well, im just getting a little burnt out on healing. I have most of the Day 1 gear (other than that fraking mace), then the only major upgrade for me after is chess or Illhoof. We need more healers, to let those of us who have done it alot to take a break. I have found this last weekend of throwing ourselves against Aran overly stressful.
I am looking forward to seeing Aran, Curator, etc... all that chaos. Should be a fun upgrade from healing Heroic Bot, Mech, SV, UB. I haven't done Heroic SL, SH, or Arc yet, though, so there's those to look forward to. I love reading the strategy discussions going on about various bosses and the brainstorming involved in trying to overcome them. Honestly, it gets a bit boring when you know you are going through yet another Heroic Bot knowing that no one is likely to die.
Which is why I'll miss this weeks run because even the first 4 events of Kara are still tinged with a bit of danger for me.
Here's hoping I be able to read how you all overcame the Shade when I get back!

WTB Shattered Halls runs with anyone who wants to know about my tanking.
I'll try to log out in my Prot gear tonight, though I've noticed Armory doesn't always show what you last logged out on. I'm over 10k hp, 12k armor, uncrit uncrush etc.
Also WTB Heroic runs this week for one of the very few pre-Kara upgrades left for Az.

The one night you ran?
I think a "week on, week off" approach works well enough since we're tossing back elixirs and flasks like they were shots of tequila. So stocking up mats, getting in some heroics and whatnot helps everyone improve between the times they run. Plus, people who get discouraged on getting Aran down to 2% may need to rejuvenate a little
