Steam help please

Apologies if this is in the wrong section. I've been asked to create a Steam group for work, NP I did that. For the life of me I can't figure out how to invite anyone to the group. Can some one please shed some light on the subject?

Oh, and Steam will let me log in, but it doesn't recognize my account when I try to post in the forums there, otherwise I would have already. And the Valve supports has been stupifying and lackluster in trying to straighten out my account.

Never mind. for some unknown reason the Invite button wasn't showing up for me. it is now. thanks for all of the responses.

Anyone know how long it takes to gift your Half Life 2 to a friend?
I entered his email address like 10 minutes ago and it's still in the "sending your gift pass to xxxx@hotmail.com"... Does it take this long or what?
edit: Well, guess what, it worked. But it was there for a good 20 minutes before deciding it'd send the invite =P
