Didn't have time. This was a last minute costume... was supposed to be part of a group costume idea, but they all bailed last minute
Aw, that sucks for you. I'd loved to have seen a group shaun of the dead costumes.
Actually... it was supposed to be a group of men dressed as Wonder Woman... no shaving, totally ghetto costumes. 10 to 13 wonder women all descending on one bar

You mean EMO.
I did cyberpunk one year at college. Anime-style haircut, sunglasses, huge sickle blades on my elbows, long black duster, nice slacks and necktie, rollerblades, and a keyboard with a katana sheath attached to it strapped across my back. I attached all sorts of spare computer parts to the keyboard (extra microphone, some IDEs, etc.) and ran some wires from the back of it to the earpiece of my sunglasses. I also had a cheap "shotgun" made from the shafts from the plastic sickles and a vaccuum cleaner handle, but it looked real enough that a police officer kindly asked if he could have a look at it. I didn't get any good pictures (it turned out to be a pretty chaotic night), but people were impressed.

The cunning hat is the most important part.
Also, I hear Quintin looks good in red.

Actually it's suprisingly easy, I did this a couple years ago. All you need is the coat, but I already had one, they're not terribly hard to find. I sure didn't pay $550 for it.

I'm dressing up as Jayne from Firefly. I've got the costume ready.. just need to wear it on Wednesday.
Obviously I'll take pictures of the entire gang. All we need is a Mal, and sadly he's the hardest because of the precise coat.
Yet even then we ran like the wind,
whilst our laughter echoed under cerulean skies...

That's funny, I dressed up as Shaun of the dead a year or two ago. I just used a baseball bat, though.
Usually, though, I just dress up as the scariest (and easiest) think I can think of: a Mormon bike missionary.

I've seen pictures, it's actually pretty creepy. It doesn't even look like you're wearing a costume.
That's awesome. And thank you for leaving out the Banana Hammock.
