Too good to die. The Friday night tradition has not died off, Fed just stopped playing, so no one updated the original thread.
Come out and face the humiliation of a chainsaw to the face, a grenade tag to the back or a last-man standing Chinese fingercuffs! We always welcome new players. You might not think you're that good, but then you'll witness Bagga in action and feel good about yourself again!
Hop on Xbox Live, and ask for an invite to the game. If you don't have some of the regular G&Bs players on your friends list, send them an invite. You'll be playing space marine vs. locusts in no time. You'll also be wondering what you've gotten yourself into. This is normal and it will pass.

What time's this start tonight? I may not be able to show this weekend due to Halloween festivities. If I can be online, I'll be happy to jump into some matches. I still suck, but Gears is too fun to never play. I've just been too addicted to PQ and BD to pop in on Gears nights the last month.
The party starts around 8:00PM central. I'll update the original. The whole DST, timezone, profile editing thing gets to be a pain explaining.

Argh yet another Friday I won't have my gears disc back from replacement.... (and no.. I am not buying it again. Too many holiday releases I must pinch my remaining pennies for.)

I have a free growler waiting for me, and (I think) enough free time to justify drinking it. Let's see some more names in this thread - pretending I'm not drinking alone because I'm playing Gears is only justifiable if I am, in fact, playing Gears.

Gears doesnt have warlord mode. Its WARZONE. I recommend smoketagging and chainsaw sandwiches as punishment for this blasphemy.

Personally, I've never had a issue with Execution. Enemies I come in contact with seem to fall to pieces. No problem.
I believe the long range weapons are also instant kills. Now, if we're talking Annex, you can forget it. That's where Cogs and Locusts go when they die.
