Looked for, but didn't see an earlier mention of this.
Just got around to reading my most recent issue of GFW, saw that both rabbit and Katerina have articles in it.

Not surprisingly, they're the best things about the issue.

Congrats to you both for another great job! I've posted before what I think about the mag and the medium, but its always great to see you guys in print.

Yeah, actually this is at least the second and I think maybe third time they've both appeared in the same GFW issue. They are consistently excellent.

Golly thanks.

I think we've both bin in all of the last 5 issues. Not sure. I know I've sent 5 in. If this is the one with FEAR on the cover then it's not the "new" one, but I have a piece in there too.

Kat's work continues to make me look like a B- grad student. It's her job to consistently remind me how this writing thing is supposed to work.

Thanks for the shout-out, Jako. That really cheered up my night. It's always nice to know your work is being read (and liked) somewhere out there.

And I dunno know what rabbit's talking about; his stuff always makes me feel like a full-time hack. I'm just glad he's on my side.

Great stuff guys.

GFW has become the only mag I still read monthly.

Not to mention excellently consistent. I wonder if my GFW subscription is still active... if not, I may have to pick it up with my Walmart discount when I go to work for a little Break-time reading material. I hope we carry it...

Congrats to Kat and Rabbit! I had no idea!

I've had a subscription for years. The change from CGW was not one that I looked forward to yet, when it comes down to it, I think they've only gotten better since then. The only things I have had to complain about is that damned MS "This is an advertisement!" section in every issue and one issue (I think it was this September) that had an occasional offset color printing error that didn't affect the text.

Yeah, when I first saw their articles in GFW 5 months ago, I was all like, "hey, I know those guys!" Then I was like, "hey, this is the best writing in the whole frickin' magazine!"

I get a little warm, fuzzy feeling every time I receive a new issue and check out the fine writing of my freelancing Goodjer homies. Kudos to them for their hard work and kudos to Jeff Green for hooking them up after CGM went under.

Does that suggest anything to you?

In fairness, it was the first thing that came to mind, though quickly dispelled by the fact that I want more hydroxyls and less sulfur in my alcohol.

On topic, congrats to both on your continued publication.

And I believe FEAR is on the cover.

I'm looking at the newest issue and it has Brothers in Arms + Borderlands on the cover. I'll need to go back and find the FEAR issue I guess.

But I found Rabbit's article in this latest one too, about new LOTRO: Book 11 content. Nicely done. Makes me want to hop back into the game and tour around the world to see the new and upcoming changes.

I always assume Caffeine on these things.

Montalban, you're ahead of me, i haven't even seen it yet. Hope the art's good! I also have NO IDEA how long it is. I did versions from 400 to 2000 words on that one I think. There's no way to convey the coolfactor of fighting a Balrog.

I saw the URL and my first thought was, "Rabbit and Kat cause cancer?"

A little digging and it turns out the carcinogenic properties of saccharin have been greatly exaggerated.

So, kudos to you two! You do not (definitively) cause cancer!

You know, "saccharine" used to be a word back in the days before Nutra-Sweet. That's the meaning I took. (link -- see esp. #3 & 4)

Agreed. GFW may not quite be on the level of classic, book-thick PC Gamer, but it sure beats everything else around (including the awfulness PC Gamer is today).

I'd dig seeing what a 300-400 page GFW magazine would be like.
