WoW: upcoming class quest items

Does anyone know if they're planning on doing more class quest items or they give up on them?
It bothers me that those of us that did the quests pre-TBC have no way to upgrade our items. While the priest wasn't that big of a deal the hunter quest was a total B!tch to complete and having it being outclassed almost immediately entering the Outlands is a big disapointment.

The answer to this has been plastered from one side of the internet to the other; there are no plans for any upgrades to old world items. And just remmeber, if you think you have it bad with Rhok'Delar and it's counterpart, think of the warriors/paladins with Quel'Serrar, or anyone with Thunderfury, or anyone with Sulfuras, or A'tiesh(Especially A'Tiesh ><) or in what I think of as the worst culprit, the AQ weapons. The ones that require you to do all sorts of crazy crap for. And I don't mean the collect tokens, I mean the ones where you have to clear BWL in 3-4 hours, and then kill some giant shark in Azshara, and all the other crazy crap there was. I think the quest took something insane like a week to do all in all, and required crazy amounts of mats.

and all our TBC items will be outclassed for most of us in WoTLK by probably level 74-75.
Take heart though.. I'm still rocking my Drake Fang Talisman from BWL at level 70 and into SSC/TK.

Your lvl 60 stuff only gets outclassed by early TBC stuff if you didn't have good gear.
Those with the epics from BWL/AQ40/Naxxramus lasted until 68-70 until they got replacements.
Just like if you get in SSC/TK/MH/BT/SW before the next expansion, that gear should last you until level 80.
EDIT: That is, unless you play a healer like me, then you're screwed either way.

I was expressing my dislike for them again. I've been playing on my hunter again and the Rhok made me want to ask. I was more pissed off at my priest bwl/naxx gear more than i am the Rhok. I know they get outclassed... I was curious if they dont plan to upgade if they plan on doing anything like that again.
As for plasterings... i dont read the official forums.... If they had a forum of just blue posts i would but beyond that the forums are a waste of time.
