WoW BHA Kara - 09/30

Hey Everyone,
People have done an excellent job of getting a few more upgrades, running some heroics and questing as needed. I propose we do another 3 night run at Kara, on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday and give another shot at Curator and hopefully stuff beyond that.
Sign up as usual 
Tuesday - Downed Attumen, Moroes & Opera
Friday (7pm) - Downed Maiden & Curator
Sunday (5pm) - Downed Chess (within the 2 hours to respawned), Attempted Aran for experience

Put me down as a definite for Friday, and as an alternate for Tuesday.
I'll be at a conference in Victoria 'til Thursday, and as I represent over $1 million in funding for one of their exercises, I expect to be dragged out for drinks Tuesday (make that every) night...I'll try to escape for the raid though. I'll be traveling to Cold Lake Sunday (and yes, it lives up to its name), so that's a no-play day for me.

Cold Lake is about 6 hours from Calgary, so I don't think it'll happen this trip.
My next conference, however, is in Yellowknife (23 Oct). Travel to the Northwest Territories requires a stopover along the way. I might be able to overnight in Calgary...I need to check the flight schedules first.

I am planning to run BM if possible or get Dabiri's Enigma tonight, either will make me uncrittable. Also need the Def wrist enchant which might do it all by itself (or that plus change a gem).
Avoidance would still be less than 102.4. Do we have mats for Tough Shield enchant?
Anyway, I could OT Tuesday if needed.

Currently we show myself and vilius for tuesday, but it would be good to get you in there for the first few bosses. It would be extremely difficult to be stepping into Kara to OT on Curator or later. You could probably have my spot for the Tuesday run and OT for Vilius, then OT for me later in the week. We'll have to play it by ear, but I would suggest bringing a secondary role set for battles where an OT doesn't help (personally I bring a healing set, but a dps set i guess would be possible, arcane set for something like Curator, etc.).

I can't do Tuesday, but Friday and Sunday are fine for me. And, as usual, I'll be just a bit late on Sunday, but I'll log Vel out at Kara so you don't have to spend time running out and summoning me.

I am good to go on all three days. Working on getting Hector all geared up and keyed to give us another option for a mage instead of Ivan. He should be all set to run next week and is working on his war face to run with the big boys.
The key to victory is to not suck as bad as the other side.
I can do Tuesday and Sunday for sure. Friday, I'm hesitant to sign up because I have a huge day planned for Saturday and I need to be well rested. I could probably run Friday with a hard cut-off time of 10 server, which is 11 my time. If you end up with healing covered, I'll just sit out.
We can make this very doable
Generally if we do well Tuesday, It'll be a Maiden/Curator night. Hopefully we can get it done, but by 10 we'd be throwing in the towel.

After giving some thought, I will be coming along after all but in my healing gear to back up Jut. Krin's got 1k +healing, 79mp5, 11% spell crit and 7k mana in that gear, so I'm pretty sure I can keep someone alive
And I'll have my tanking gear on me just in case.

If any groups are too small Cyrana needs to try and get the key fragment out of Shadowlabs. We had a brutal time trying to do it Sunday night.

If ya look at the numbering, we only have 8 guarantees, the rest are maybes, so if you're there on time, you're coming
And yes, Krindle to heal! It'll be good since for ONCE we are tank heavy and I can backup heal while we groom Az into a full tanking role.
Moroes and Opera are definitely on tap for tonight, I'm hoping we add either Attumen or Maiden, preferrably Maiden due to the invisible healing mace

Clam Bars are my fav. They cost 2 Jaggal Clam Meat and 1 Soothing Spice to make. Pots - Make good friends with Dhal and Jut
Rune of Warding - It's changing with the patch today, but used to absorb 200/400 damage every 2 minutes (lesser/greater). Apparently now it will proc a damage absorption buff on hit.
Rune of Shielding - One time use, no timer, absorbs the next 1000/4000 damage you take (lesser/greater). Made by Blacksmiths (like me) for 1 adamantite or khorium bar each.

I hear they finally released the recipe for my secret 'Cope Elixir' with the new patch. +10 to Charisma!
FYI - due to the patch, I figure some people are going to be logging on late. Hopefully people have enough time to DL the patch before the run, and once we have 10, we'll start. If we find we're waiting with 8 or 9, we may be able to do Attumen in the meantime.
