One thing I will probably never get used to in anime and Japanese games is the loud, emotional grunting in things like this. Maybe some folks in japan make that much superfluous noise (when they aren't saying "..." or speaking other people's names with dramatic inflections), but it just seems weird that a guy would say "uhh" that many times when the construction rig he's in is about to be flipped over on top of him.
Maybe a swear or yell would be better. I just, don't get the weird whine-grunts.

Well I think it was fantastic but it really does depend on the person, I still think that MGS is one of the best video game series, I am pumped for MGS 4, it will be fantastic.

Uh, a lot of those are words in Japanese. And mostly swearwords. For example, what sounds like a sneeze is actually a slang version of the word "sh*t". Yelling is really really rude. Just not done. Condition someone like that from their youth, their instinct is not to shout in those circumstances.
Besides, once it's localized I'm sure he'll be cursing a blue-streak while flipping off the Beast.

MGS does have extended cut scenes that sometimes get annoying when they're 20 minutes long. But the gameplay is usually very well done on all of the Solid series of games. I love them all and I'm sure I'll love MGS4.
