Cash 'n Guns

The newest podcast piqued my interest with the talk of the game Cash 'n Guns. I did a little research online to find out the basics of the game, sounds like it could be a lot of fun. (Seems like it'd be a good drinking game to.)
For those that have played, when does the bargaining and bluffing come in? I don't really understand what the strategy to the game would be. Do you talk before the "Point Guns" and "Bang" phases?

I haven't had the chance to play it yet myself, but it sounds like good fun.

Didn't we talk about this game a lot a few months ago?

Possibly, I searched but couldn't find anything.

That article is a great place to start. The game isn't really about bargaining, it's all about bluffing and playing the odds very quickly. You'll be thinking "Does this gun pointing at me have a bullet, or a blank this time" a lot.

Trev, this page has what looks like a pretty detailed writeup of the mechanics of the game.
I ordered a copy today from Boulder Games. I have a weeks vacation coming up at a rental property with hopefully many friends and the game should be a lot of fun.
I'm not sure if I'll be feelin' the orange foam guns in the American version. I may procure some slightly more realistic substitutes, especially as Rabbit's review says that breaking taboos is part of the fun.

I've had this game for a year and still haven't played it. Bought it for a gangster-themed party and none of f*cking gangsters were interested.

Sounds like someone made the classic gangster vs. gangsta mistake.

In a less confused and crazed environment, Cash n Guns can be about negotiation and alliances. "Hey, we have an arrangement right? I mean, we're pals, you wouldn't point a LOADED gun at me until the end, right?"

Thanks for hipping me to this game, rabbit. I played many a round last week and it was thoroughly enjoyable.
I didn't think I'd like the snitch cop variation of the game but it turned out to be one of the best parts. The special power cards were also much fun.
