In answer to how long the game is supposed to be, I think I read ~20 hours if you don't rush through. Which for me ought to be closer to ~30 hours with the cautious, explore-everywhere way that I tend to play games like this.

I don't get why they have a lock on the PC demo.... they really DO hate us.... and as for drivers... the 360 has "old" hardware so i can't see how they'd need to release new drivers to take advantage of their custom shaders etc...

I was curious and did a domain registrant search on sonydefenseforce.com, but it yielded only that the domain was registered to something called "Domains By Proxy" in Arizona. Whoever owns the site doesn't want anyone to know who they are.
Oh well.

Eh, I use domains by proxy for my personal site so I wouldn't read too much into it. It's less for "now I can say whatever I want and no one can find me" than for "make it slightly tougher for internet stalkers to track my family so my wife's relatively irrational fears don't keep her awake at night".

I don't mean to be rude here, but why does anyone bother buying games from Gamestop anymore? I thought their shady preorder business practices were pretty well known?
I havn't pre-ordered Bioshock, but I'll be getting a copy tomorrow because I know even though Gamestop would laugh at me and say, "No preorder, no game", Best Buy and Target and Wal-Mart will all have plenty of copies.

Yeah, STEAM for the win. I'll be playing when I arrive home tomorrow at 6PM EST, assuming the STEAM servers haven't all crashed from everyone trying to unlock at once.
I'm hoping at this point in STEAM's evolution it will have a relatively smooth "Triple-A Title" unlock period compared to HL2.
