I'm not sure if these vids have been posted but HOLY SH*T this game is going to kick major ass. IGN has a different video for heavy weapons, light weapons, and explosions and they're all looking damn good. The co-op experience should hopefully be one of the most memorable in a while and I'm looking forward to some awesome GWJ nights!

Here are three more from Gametrailers:

Lag used to be a lot worse back in the day. Hell, it took Jesus 3 days to respawn.

Pretty much Merc's 1 but with destructible trees, a grappling hook, and QTE-like moves to hijack vehicles. Gimme coop and that'll be enough.

The environments are a lot more destructible than Mercs 1 and definitely a nice upgrade graphically. I still wish there was a full-scale multiplayer component but I guess we'll have to settle for just co-op.

Most of the objects in Mercenaries were already destructible. Once you got bookoo bucks you could level the cities to nothing if you wanted.

True but the structures are much more detailed and there's more destroy all the way around. For example, the oil rig is made of 200 or so individual destructible pieces not just a single large structure that crumbles in one single animation.

Give the characters a parachute and make sure the world is ginormous and they will have learned every worthwhile lesson from Just Cause, which makes me happy because I think the marriage of Mercenaries and Just Cause would be just about the most awesome game every made.

Oh and you wanted to. Lasing a Korean hospital for a smart bomb makes Jesus cry but I thought it was hilarious.

This game is going to rock. It'd be nice if they figured out 4-player coop, but 2 is better than none.

One of these days I'll finish a
