I was thinking how awesome it would be if we had a trading post, a way to know who needs the stuff you want to give back to the guild. Since I can't figure out how to create this trading post, I thought it would be nice if we had a report from current active members, tell us your main toon's name, level, class, professions levels and, if you like, a short wish list. If you have an alt that is important to you enough that you would like some help leveling that alt and profession, list the alts, in order of importance. I think everyone understands that one persons main > another person's alt as far as "guild" resources are concerned.

I'm not asking that anyone contribute any more or any less to the guild, only that we try to funnel it to the right spot. Let's use the bank for special cases, or overflow of the really good stuff that might be saved for a later use.

I'll begin:
Main: Juturna 70 priest - herb (max), alch (max)
Alt: Juta 46 warrior - mining (186), jewelcrafting (275)

Engineering's just about only useful (to others) for bullets and the odd quest item. My cap is 390 with racial bonus, but I see no point in grinding those last 15 - if they happen, they happen.

There's an addon that saves your profile to the web, like Armory, but it includes your recipes, pattern, etc.

If I can get it to work, this would be the ideale thread...anyone wanting a 'chant, for instance, can see what I have available.

The only catch, is that you have to update the profile when you learn something new.

Unless you're running out of mana overhealing is the most worthless stat in the game. Underhealing is effectively known as "wiping".

SunSeeker (70): Mining (Max), Armorsmith/BS (360)
Aesildur (52): Mining (Max), Skinning (Max)

Valleja (70): Herbalism (Max), Tailoring (Max)

Shaylandria (51): Tailoring (298), Enchanting (300)

For myself, I burned out a bit on the blacksmithing getting it to 360. Raising it, while nice, isn't a priority until I get my rep with Aldor and other faction up first (or find some lucky Plans: drops).

Valleja has maxed out Tailoring, but has already gotten some good headway on Scryer at least. She now at the stage where she is making her Spellcloth every 4 days so that she can make some of the higher end tailored items. And, of course, she's still offering her services as a Tailor to whomever has a need.

Herbalism may be replaced by Jewelcrafting someday. Right now, though, we are keeping it as a possible farming tool, but there is some temptation to power it up like we did with Tailoring.

I do most of Shay's profession efforts. She's in Shatt and could probably raise Enchanting higher, but Troll has said he doesn't mind enchanting for others, so we just feed her a few greens here and there so that Val doesn't have to beg for Arcane Dust (which is the key ingredient to Imbued cloth).

Yeah, we had a thread a while back that had links to our crafter profiles. Unfortunately I can't find that thread, and I can't remember the addon name, but I can take a look tomorrow and post it. I know I still have it installed, I just don't have it enabled.

Anyways, Vel's 375 Herb and Alchy. I have all the normal recipes, as well as Major Holy, Shadow, and Arcane protection potions. I can also make Fel Strength, Mana, and Regeneration elixirs.

Important note with all the paladins we have coming up and already at 70, I have all three recipes for the Khorium armor set, which is probably the best set of three healer-focused plate armor pieces you can get short of the 70+ instances. I've been using the set ever since I hit 70, probably won't replace it until I pick up pieces in those slots from Kara (I haven't seen other stuff in my travels yet that's better for a healadin role).

Note, though, that to go above 300, you need to hit level 50.

That said, portalling to Shatt is a viable strategy at almost any level. I took a new alchemist there (level 36 char), and in Lower City, with a bank load of mats, they raised their skill from 1 to 300 without leaving town in about an hour.

We did the same thing with Shaylandria and her enchanting as you can go to Scryer (unless you are Aldor) and they have a trainer that can take you from 1 to 375 (if you have the character level & mats, of course).

PS: Oh! Before I forget. Troll, please do not think my "beg for Arcane Dust" comment was any kind of indication that you haven't been available, willing, or accomidating on your talent sharing! In no way have you ever been anything but very willing in your sharing... it is just simpler sometimes to have an alt you can log on and send because we aren't always on at the same time. In retrospect, I should have used a different phrase.

I'm bumping this thread back to the front page in hopes that more of our new or returning guildies will post their professions here. Heck, not even all the usual suspects have chimed in yet. I have hopes that we can use this info to do some person to person trading of resources to lessen the huge task of managing the guild bank.

Speak up kids, don't be shy. If there's something you need, or something you have too much of and want to get it to where it is needed, this is the place to let everyone know!

Remember, this thread is not just about what you can contribute, but what mats you are looking for to level your *main* profession, or secondary profession in the event that are serious about that character. We have a guild bank that sees a lot of action. The guild bank is awesome and Khush puts a lot of time into it. I'm just scouting out ways that we might trade reagents and mats among ourselves to ease the load on the bank.

Sort of a trading post idea. Ya know, for guildies. For example, I know that Aprilyn is looking for rune cloth right now.

If we get enough participation, I'll ask Ely or Certis to sticky this thread and ask people to update as their needs change. If the majority doesn't want to participate, I'll leave you guys alone about it and we can go back to business as usual. I'll give it a few more days and see if we get much of a database to work with.

Hard to believe people are shy about asking for mats all the sudden.

Update on where I'm heading: I'm gonna keep mining and work up skinning in anticipation of dropping mining for LW around the time I get my epic ground mount saved for(I figure I've got another 30 levels to this point) Anyway, I'm gonna hold on to skins and stuff while I'm skilling skinning to level LW, but we'll see how it goes in the higher echelons. Thanks in advance for any help!

Always accepting donations of spare leather for guild crafting and knothides for insoles for Kara runs.

*Raises eyebrow in a questioning manner* You actually make insoles for your kara runs? What purpose do they serve, especially since they take the place of an enchant that you may have on your boots? Or did they change them in a patch that I am not aware of since I have been max LW for a long time?

The insoles are now a temporary buff (30 minutes) that doesn't override an enchantment. Armor kits still override enchantments.
