So much for not showing the game until it's done, eh?

Well, technically this isn't the game, I guess. LINK.

The graphics have certainly come a long way, though who knows how big of a step down they'll take in the shift of gameplay. I'm disapointed that Baldur seems to be shaping up to be Total Hardcore Badass #241 for the third person action genre. If he turns out to be tormented, though, look out. Originality galore!

I'm just hatin' for the fun of it, though. It looks cool. Hopefully they'll show some gameplay as well, eventually.

Is this the movie where the giant robot with a cigarette lighter shaped head invades a bar?

So far, this isn't selling me on the game. Perhaps I missed something?

It looks alright... but, really, that cinematic might not be the high point of the game. I'll just pretend I didn't see anything...

Yes. And I'm not really getting it either - this looks pretty Meh.

I think in this trailer, they tried too hard for the "AWESOMELY COOL MYSTERIOUS STRANGER" and completely missed the mark.

This vid was very cool and if in-engine, it was very impressive as so far most of the Mass Effect videos have showed the game with major frame rate issues. However, I want to see actual gameplay before I'm sold on this game. I have been excited about it for some time because I have always loved Silicon Knights but I want to see how it actually plays first.

The whole thing had that weightlessness of early CG to it, like it is a universe without inertia. The snippet of exposition at the beginning was painfully amateur.

I did like how he motioned the Norelco baddie to just leave after roughing it up enough. That was kind of unexpected, but funny, and a bit weird seeing as how it had consumed multiple people.

It wasn't stunning, but I didn't really think it was all that bad. Certainly not "dog sh*t." I mean, it didn't stir much desire in me, but it also didn't turn me off in any way. (Things did seem to be lacking a sense of mass to them, though.)

Yeah, the sounds and motions were just off somehow. As Certis said, nothing seemed to have any real weight behind it. I didn't "believe" impacts or collisions.

It won't stop be from following the game, but it's definitely not on the short list of future purchases. A shame, really.. I've liked previous Silicon Knights efforts.

Just watched it. How childish. I saw no hint of dramatic gravity or weight, so abundant in other SK games. Of course we all know that tough guys don't talk, they choke people and wave their guns in peoples faces at the slightest offense. Way to defeat the bad guy after he kills half the bar and then let it go so it can kill the rest of the village. I guess the sword needed a break. The faces of the characters were horrible. Shadowrun had better character models.

Not. Impressed. I'm judging this game harshly because of Dennis Dyack's outbreaks, but he deserves it. I'm still holding out for a great game, the concept still sounds wonderful. I am a little sad that traditional Silicon Knights' strengths (story, character) were not on show in the trailer.

We shall grapple with the ineffable, and see if we may not eff it after all.

That was my first exposure to this game (believe it or not) and I thought it looked terrific. I love the atmosphere. It's certainly a cutscene, but it also looks very in-engine to me. The animation was a bit choppy, but other than that, it reminded me of an in-depth Sci-Fi story. And (as a recent front page article mentioned) I am starved for a good Sci-Fi game.

I love the vibe they're going for. It works.

I really want to be excited for this game, but everything they've shown so far has just been so... dull. The animation and audio was surprisingly poor for a AAA title like this. Despite the nice graphics, it sort of felt like a trailer for Playstation 1 game.

On the upside, the world is looking a lot more interesting than it did in previous looks at the game. Up until now it seemed to consist entirely of really big, generic halls.

I hope it's just a case of the trailer being unsuited to show off the game's strengths, rather than the game not having any strengths to show.

I honestly can't believe this game is getting comparisons to God of War on any level. The action was really ill-directed, as noted the sounds were either non-existent or lacking and there was still slowdown. All that said, Dyack needs to stop bothering to show footage and get the game done so it can be judged in full.
