San Francisco Slap & Tickle II: The Revenge

August 16 through the 20th I'm rolling through town for the American Psychological Association convention at the Moscone Center.
Locals, pick a place and a time for a slap and tickle for it shall be a glorious night.
I vote for Saturday evening. There's a ton of places to eat that are within walking distance of the Moscone Center. I'm down with whatever.

Edwin, I work all of a block from Moscone, so I can be there most anytime. Weekends I tend to be at home in San Jose, so that's not so hot for me, but doable. I recommend Friday night. Or Thursday, for that matter. I'll bow to consensus, though. Thirsty Bear is decently priced, a block away, and has good food/drinks.

If we're worried about APA crowds filling it up, I'd also recommend Zebulon * or Kate O'Brien's **, which are also a few blocks away. There's also the excellent 21A ***, but we went there last time.

Whee! More intoxication, less incarceration! When you factor in what you'd pay for parking in the City, it's even economical, which means EVEN MORE BEER!
Hotel and flight booked. Arrive noon on the 14th of August and leave at 8 PM on the 19th. The only thing I have planned so far is Lewis Black at Davis Hall on Friday the 17th. Anyone that wants to join me for the show is more than welcomed.

I passed by the Orpheum theatre on the way to work this am.
Starting Aug 7th they will be showing "Avenue Q". It ends Sept 9th I believe.
The wifey and I are definitely going at some point. Who wouldnt love foul mouthed muppets?

Although my first date with my wife was at the Thirsty Bear, I usually go to the Chieftain for my Moscone beer fix. Food's great, less trendy, less crowded.
By chance, Im going to Lewis Black with my wife and the inlaws on fri the 17th. Edwin is also I believe so saturday works better for me, and Edwin I would assume.
