from what I've read of this, Mythic took the RvR model from DAoC and greatly expanded on that. I'm thinking that the final product should differ enough from WoW that they wont really be in direct competition. One only has so much time in a day though, so for that ultimately everyone competes....

There's an email you have to reply to and confirm your email address and when you follow the link you have to submit a DxDiag.txt file. So, if you don't see it, check your spam folder!
I've never seen it happen. Apparently trying to tie in game lore, as well as not having ready access to the beta site link makes it not good enough. Eh, whatever I suppose.

I'm actually done with betas. Even though it is still beta, issues can stiull turn you off to the game at release especially if something you really likes is still not fixed. I think I'm at the point where I will wait till release and try it for the free month to decide.
