Well, i am a cheap bastard so decided to find a way to store my PS2 saves onmy PC, because there is way too many games with big saves nowadays and loads of memory cards is not the best way to deal with the problem. Cards get lost, damaged, port wears. That is actually why i want to do dumping. My port plate is wearing off, sometimes it doesnt connect properly with cards i insert...

So, is there any way to dump saves to pc ? preferably via USB ports. I know that sony hacked/crippled USB on ps2's to prevent this.

Anyone here know anything about any of this ?

There is some sort of cd/device thingy called X-Port, but i know squat about any of that...
