Ding 70 + epic flying mount

I hit level 70 yesterday evening. I think Blizzard did an incredible job with this expansion and I am really looking forward to future updates.
Right after I hit 70, I borrowed the remaining scratch I needed for my epic flying mount. Wow! is all I can say. It is very fast and fun to use. I will post a picture later.
Anyone else 70/tried out the new mounts?

My mage hit 70 on Tuesday night, though I'm nowhere near close to having enough money for my epic mount - I've been pouring most of my money into tailoring (20-slot bags!) so up until I got tailoring to 375, I really didn't have a lot of spare cash.
Now I'm just doing every available quest, since the monetary rewards are so high... I'm sure I'll have enough for an epic mount in a couple weeks.
I did hit 626 +dmg last night, which is by far a high point for me... I'm feeling very tricked out, even in just blues.

I just hit 66 last night, but money is not exactly pouring in atm. I hope to be able to afford the REGULAR flying mount when I hit 70, but I'll be no where near close to the cash necessary for the epic one. Isn't it like 6K, all said and done?

I went from 67 (with 3 bars left) on Friday night to 70 on Sunday night in the Mana Tombs. Finished all of Blade's Edge and Nagrand. I was pretty determined to get it done, my brother came over, and my fiance was playing as well - WoW LAN party FTW!
Even though the Horde mounts look a bit sickly, I chose the blue one. Kind of ugly, but what can you do. I have to say, I was a bit giddy hopping up into the air and realizing I could mount on any solid surface, so I flew around for a bit.
Very cool indeed. Now, my eyeballs need a rest from all the grinding

I'll break down and jump back into WoW eventually. School + work has been really banging away at my time so far since New Year's.
I keep trying to play my 60 shammy in hellfire and keep getting pissed off
I've now got a 30 mage and a 31 pally that I'm having fun with along with a 30 druid and a 31 hunter. Maybe I've just forgotten how to play a shaman. (I'm also full elemental specced so I'm basically a gimped mage which probably doesn't help any 
).
Edit: And I don't even have my epic ground mount (still trying to grind out Org faction for a wolf as I hate the way kodos look).

Well - I've been 70 for a few days ..erh guess its more than a week now, and have to say there is so much more to see, so many more quests to do and instances to run.
Now if only the rest of the Blackhand alliance guild could .. erh .. get up there so we can start running some of the instances. I'm currently doing pugs which is generally been okay but not ideal.
As for money - lets just say I bought the flying mount without too much trouble. The real money drain has been getting tailoring up (still sitting at 367) but there is no rush as it will take me a while to get the 14 shadowcloth for the last piece of the frostweaver set.

Late last night I got my priest to 70 and got a non-epic griffon. I was pretty stoked as well to tour around a bit, so much so that I forgot to train my new spells.
It's a shame really that the second you're able to get the flying mount you can no longer get xp from exploring.
Next priorities are the Karazhan key and the last 20 points in engineering.
All this science I don't understand. It's just my job five days a week.

As of 6:00pm (server time), the newest BHA GWJ 70 hit the streets of Netherstorm.
But, alas, the mount is still earth-bound...not sure where to find all that "mad cash" people keep talking about.

Heck, forget flying mounts; I have to work on getting my regular Paladin epic mount.
I feel the need for speed! My stubby little dwarven legs don't quite suffice. At least I've got my talents set up again. My word, they've changed a lot since I took my hiatus.

Maybe one of these days I'll actually manage to make it to a guild raid too.
I've always had a blast in the guild groups I've joined, though I'm still kicking myself for failing to be a good enough tank to handle the Baron encounter when I got to go along to Stratholme. 
I'm more of an off-tank/off-healer, though; not so good at main tanking. I'll need to get back there eventually to get the quest completed for becoming a master hammersmith anyway.
Conga Rats Troll, only 33 bubbles left to go for Storms to join that party! Hopefully I get it before I get my passport in a couple weeks, and have to start traveling to various parts of Canada on a regular basis....

Oh, I was just told yesterday about the next patch....310% epic flying mounts that are nether drakes. The quest will not involve raids but probably a grind of insane proportions.
I have not confirmed if this is true or not yet though.

well if you need some more people so its not so "puggish" heh usually there is a few KA people on at any time that can roam around with you all. i got my hunter to 70 and the priest to 66. easiest way to grind money is to wait til 70 to do a lot of quests. i usually get between 15-30g per quest complete now...and i have done a 5 part chain quest in 15 mins...for a 100+g profit...heh i did spend about 50s on arrows.
Question:
To buy the ride skill I assume you have to have the epic ride skill level? or can I go straight from "normal chicken mount" ride skill straight up to the epic flyer skill level?
