I've just installed Adblock

This has been happening to me for the last hour:
When I load a page I get the top bar and the first third of the side bar, down to the Sponsors section, and then the browser sits there and for about 3 minutes tries to connect to a tribalfusion link. It switches through a few different ad sites, but it will not load the rest of the page until it has timed out the side banner ad.
Is anyone else getting this?
I feel bad, since the ads support the site, but they were stopping me from using the site.
Politely rude. Briskly vague. Firmly uninformative.

I was having the same problem on Tuesday until I switched over to Firefox. Since then, no problems.
EDIT - Of course I'm being lazy today and using IE6 to make this post.

Witchlight Cycle: Sithis of the Thelis'Thale Clan, Dragonborn Paladin of Moradin
The side bar has always been quirky for me. For instance I can only see the navigation tab if I'm not logged in. Not adblock related, or even Firefox.....same thing in vanilla IE.

I see this issue still hasn't been fixed. I don't like blocking ads for a site I support, but when they break the load times what other choice is there? Fix your ad loading problems guys, it's costing you money.

I've never had problems with the ads in this site, but it always loads the same one about some pirate game.

Install NoScript, then block any scripts from tribalfusion.com.

Completely off topic, but Rezzy, that avatar is awesome.
In Ultima Online I used to poison hams and leave them on the ground in cities for people to pick up and eat. I can't believe how many people thought street ham was a good thing to eat. -Elliottx
