Ebgames is actually bundling the WoW Burning Crusade Collectors Edition. I shouldnt be surprised, but I am. Insanity, or maybe not since folks are paying more for just the CE on Ebay.

It would absolutely fantastic if they could dredge up some copies of the original World of Warcraft CE boxes and bundle that. But I believe they have stop making the original CE. And even the ones on Ebay state that you can buy the box and everything but you can't use the CD key because it was already used.

Wow...thanks for the head's up. I picked 2 up (separate orders), one to use and one to keep. Given the number of these things on Ebay right now, I seriously doubt the market will be anything like the original WoW CE, but who knows. It looks like a large number of the copies sold yesterday went straight to Ebay.

Out of curiousity i peeked BC CE listings on ebay. Seems a good number of these CEs are going for around half their retail price with just minutes left. Too many folks doing 1-day auctions and the large supply now. I dont like this 'ebay' trend, so while I hope this is not affecting any of you, I have to admit I rejoice in this momentary price implosion.
As do I. While I think eBay has redeeming qualities, it creates an incentive for scalpers to try to corner the market, and drive up prices.
A little discipline from the market is in order.
Man, the Best Buy email order confirmation is taking forever. I wonder if something is up, I'm not used to such a long delay.

Out of stock now. Was actually in stock for a few hours - far longer than I expected.
My wife ordered like two hours after me. Hers shipped, but mine hasnt. I think I'm gonna have to arm wrestle her for it. Or maybe just wrestle... and she can win, but I'll be happy.
I ordered 2 within 1 minute of each other. The 2nd one (with 2 day shipping) has shipped. The first (with one day) has not shipped.
Looks like they might pack based on carrier pickup times? Just a guess.

Actually I just checked the link, and they seem to have BC CE sans any required bundles.
I ordered it, we'll see if it actually ships within 24hrs as they claim.

Shipped last night. Huh, whaddyaknow. Makes me feel better after making it to the Best Buy last week, only to have the people standing in line since frigging 4am get the only 5 copies in the store.

I don't expect the CE to stay in stock forever. I just hate to see eBayers corner the market.
(I'm Ok, in principle, with folks who eBay these things for $300 months after release, when stores don't have it any more. eBay has its place.)
Got mine yesterday, upgraded my regular BC account to the CE version. That was pretty easy to do, just had to wait on hold for awhile. Nice thing is there's no downtime, I can keep playing and they'll email me when the upgrade is done, as well as a replacement license key for the standard BC version.
