Kiri...the GWJ time stamp function seems to be on the fritz (ie. I've had postings that appear to be from the future, and this post is stamped as if I sent it an hour ago.)
I know this is a function of my account "locale settings", but when I fix my timezone, it doesn't "stay" fixed.

Can I again ask about this 'server' time and EST, PST etc. It would be nice to have a clock running on the home page that showed whatever time is server time so one can judge that time against their zone. Or just say, 'Central' time(althought that's a bit North Ameica-centric perhaps). Times are just way confusing for me, and always have been. And I don't think I'm alone (of course too, who am I to speak up on such a subject seeing how I miss most anyway:>)

Unless I'm wrong (and I quite often am), server time is the same for everyone on Blackhand, and since everyone should know the delta (difference) between their local time and server time (for instance, my local time is the same as server time), it makes sense to reference it.

No, you are right (but I can't say about the 'crack':>) I know server time is the same for everyone, I'm just trying to get a good definition of server time.I mean I was told it was Central. So cool. Which brings me back to my original point...the time stamp function we're using on this site seems to be a bit messed up.
You can see your delta from server time by holding the cursor over the sun (or moon) icon in the upper right corner of your WoW screen, so why don't we use that?

I most likely won't be there with Bort tonight. My professors decided to have everything due tomorrow and have a test in a class that I just so happened to kind of NOT pay attention in for the last few weeks... so... yeah. I'll be back in action for next week though! And who knows... maybe I'll get done with everything really fast today and make it in time for the raid... we'll see.

I wasn't trying to address the start time for this event, I was trying to spread the gospel (baspel?) about the calendar's time function being jacked, and how we can easily work around it. Apologies to Kiri if it in any way came off wrong. She's the shizzle, and I really mean that.
