Any chance you can wait for me to return (22 Nov)...or if not, can we make this a regular thing?
While I'd be up for taking on any of the big baddies, there's a special place in my heart (and hit-list) for the wandering Dragon in Azshara (he drops a Bue Sinew needed by all the guild Hunters.)

heh good luck. takes a full 40 man raid to take out one of the world dragons...just a FYI
Not just a full 40 man raid, but a well equipped one, at that! Those guys are tough.

Yes I have seen many a raid fall to these dragons. I have seen a raid setup and a low lvl in the area come in and set off the dragon before the raid was ready and wipe the raid. that happened to a raid I was in when we fouoght the dragon in Feralas. Lord Kazzak in blasted Lands is a good one as well. He only needs like 25-30 people (but of course you can bring 40). The thing about him is, its a race against time. If you do not kill him in under 3 minutes or so he gets this UBER buff which will basically enable him to one-shot everyone and wipe the raid. In that regards though it is fun because you have a time limit and can't just take your time like you can with the world dragons.
Oh and BTW I would farm the blue dragonkin in Winterspring for the Blue Sinew as well as that world dragon Troll. I went with 2 other guildies and we farmed the place for about 3 hours and it droppped for me. I now have the Black Sinew, Blue Sinew and I am still waiting on the leaf from MC. The leaf is supposed to have a 50% drop rate with the eye, but that damn eye has dropped about 13 times in a row. All our priests have it now as well as peoples ALT priests. I am starting to get depressed.

Well, like I said last night, I'm in, though, it'd have to be on a night I'll be on anyway. I have 5/5 Winter's Chill (+2% frost spell crit, stacks to 10%), so our frost mages should be happy with that, and I have Arcane Subtlety (-10 mob's resistance to my spells) and Elemental precision (-6% mob's resistance to my frost/fire spells) which should help me land a little more than I should at lvl 50.
Also, if we chose a specific dragon to go up against, I'll try to pump out some protection pots for us. I have the greater fire and... I think shadow prots (might have arcane), but only the regular nature one, and I don't think I even have a recipe for any frost prots (there's no big need for the regular ones, and I think the greater is an expensive recipe to buy). I'll go ahead and gather up some obvious ones like fortitudes, stoneshields, giant strengths, greater agilities, shadow powers, and arcane elixirs together and send 'em to Bankia.

Good luck. *snicker*
I remember watching wipe on one of them over and over, and those are the guys that have mroe then one legendary weilder in em.
Rogue
Mage
Shaman
Yesterday Warfare (BH Horde) killed Azuregos with 8 people.
We've killed 3 of them on Thunderhorn, they're not that bad if you have the right mix.
I'd be willing to take a shot at 'em.
That is impressive with only 8. My raid group is getting to that level we have ZG, MC, AQ20 on farm status and BWL and AQ40 we can do without too much difficulty. 3 of our tanks have Thunderfury and a Rogue now is working on it. I would like it as a Hunter but I know I would get so much sh*t about it.

That's awesome... neither the thread title nor any subsequent posts mention that this is WoW. But everyone knows... (except for me... I was thinking there's a new game out there called World Dragons at first...)
They really should just rename the MMORPG forum WoW.

Well, there's been some Guild Wars activity lately too.
Yes, we need a full crew. We can pick a day, get as many GWJers as possible, and get PuGs for the rest.
What I am trying to do is look for creative ways of kicking the Guild in the hindquarters and get active. ZG and other instances are great, but these are visceral, long, hard fought battles that are immediate gratification.
Nothing better to spur on some Guild action.

Is this a 60s-only thing, because I would be happy to show up in the interest of guild unity, etc. (48 pally here, happy to off-heal or something)
If not, well, I guess I need to get out there and do some more levels. It's been all enchanting, all the time for me lately.
