Not amped up about the unlocks, I'll kill and die with the basic weapons of a recruit, except for the claymore, an all around "piss you off" weapon. I'll die much more than I kill. See you tonight with a cold pint of Guinness.

I don't want to ruin your rhyme, but pilum is pronounced "pee-loom". Blame the Romans.

Okay, but no sneaking up on poor Funkenpants in the Titan and knifing him.

I should be on. I just can't stop sniping for some reason. It's effecting my score something horrible.

I'm glad you described it, I haven't been able to figure out what was going on with the little red x, now it's all becoming clear.

Just hope we get on some servers that allow unlocks, so I can use the meager amount I have!

I'm surprised there's not more comment on last night's game. I had fun rounds, but a lot of people seemed to bail pretty early. Where's the love for 2142?

I had fun, but there was an early mass exodus last night, so I only ended up playing 2 or 3 rounds. Also, the cool kids' server was full so Hemidal and I were slumming it on another server.

Edited to make my sentences sensical.

Yeah, I had to go over some mortgage paperwork with my wife, so I wound up trying to connect around 9:30 CST. What possessed you guys to play on a 24 person server? I mean, besides the obvious EA/DICE lag beast...

I played a couple of titan rounds with the pubtards and booty. Why is it that pubtards do one of two things when the shields fail? They either 1) 100% completely ignore capping silos and focus on defense or 2) 100% completely ignore capping silos and assault the enemy titan. A little mix of all three, defense, assault and silo capping seems to be the most effective way to destroy a titan hull. Especially since the support class/medic/grenades/recon class combo makes blowing up the reactor harder than cracking a bank vault.

didnt even make it into my first round before TS went nuts on me again, then was plagued by constant punkbuster kicks for a duplicate cd-key. Pretty frustrating since I dont have a cd-key.

I don't remember it clearly, but I think we were down to 7-8 people and the 24-person server was almost empty. Then it filled up fast.

I think the TS server was screwed up last night. Reception on my end was really bad. I spoke with Chief Wiggum about it and he said he also noticed this. He also said he couldn't transmit. Maybe TS was all wonky for everyone. Anyone else have problems with it last night?

I noticed it was pretty quiet, but didn't consider it was a problem with TS itself. The TS server itself did have a message saying that it was going away soon...what's the story there?

my problem is somewhere in my setup, though for the life of me I cant figure where. It goes nuts and broadcasts very loud static to everyone in the channel....not a minor annoyance.

The appearance of bailing has some to do with the server swap halfway through the night. Many of us fled to a different server because the first kept playing the same map over and over. Also it was full. Sadly the new server was only a 24 player server that also filled up before some could switch.

I didn't have any TS problems last night. For me, it was a pretty solid night. Especially when I got that hovertank and took out all those guys on the balcony.

I think that was later. Earlier I remember hearing a whole string of "player left" messages after an early round and looked at the clock to see it was only 9:45. I checked my underarms for odor and then realized, "What a sec, they can't smell me." So I was confused as to why everyone had stopped playing.

I wanted to play last night but when I first logged on I was having connection issues of some kind. I got booted for high ping on the first server, the second wasn't any better, and about the time it cleared up and I was able to play everyone got off

Yeah, I've got to do some shopping after work (loathe grocery shopping on Saturday or Sunday), but I'm going to try to jump on around 9 cst.
