Do you know what "nemesis" means? A righteous infliction of retribution manifested by an appropriate agent. Personified in this case by an 'orrible c*nt... me! - Brick Top

I''d nominate brushing my teeth as game of the year before BMX XXX. Guess it just goes to show that us people with a brain need to stick together. We''re obviously outnumbered.

??!?!?!
An other reason why IGN.com is a better site than gamespot.
For instance, there are 108 beads in a Catholic rosary and there are 108 stitches in a baseball. When I learned that, I gave Jesus a chance. ~Ron Shelton, Bull Durham, 1988
I know what you mean. Even thought I worked on it (back when it was still a legitimate Mirra title), I don''t list it on my resume....

Replace bmx xxx with monkey ball 2 and that would almost be right. Although I havent played a few of those games yet..
Not to mention the fact that Gamespot almost never imports a Japanese release of a game to post their own previews, screens, and video clips before it''s English release. IGN does.
All your cliché are belong in hell.
IGN outranks GameSpot easily. GameSpot may have that ""cool and hip"" look (OMG, black background!!! OMG!) and better layout in some cases (WOW, flash-enabled news headings.... good lord! But I still have to click through dozens of links to get to the release date tables, some things just never change at all), but IGN has more ""human"" journalists and overall much more professional staff. Not to mention that the IGNBoards (That and Gaming Life in Japan are the only reasons I pay for Insider) are superior to the GameSpot ones.
But, enough ranting. That readers'' top ten is seriously fudged up.

Pretending not to spam doesn't quite work when you dig up a 5 year old thread and post a faked text that is smaller than the advertisement. Now sod off.
Edit: There was a spam post just above that has been removed as usual, in case anyone is confused.

This has got to be a record for thread necromancy! I mean 5 and a half years?!

Star Fox adventures was terrible. A major collect-a-thon. And a bait and switch one at that.
Oh and I don't care for IGN or GAmespot. I hate waiting for all the 'flash' to load.
For how many awful games are on there and how few good games there ACTUALLY are on the Cube, I'm shocked, SHOCKED, that Skies of Arcadia Legends is not on there.

All bold = IMO, of course.
I have to wonder how much of that list consists of gamers simply trolling the GCN and its library.
I mean seriously, no RE4, Pikmin 2, Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, Viewtiful Joe, F-Zero GX, Ikaruga, etc., etc.?
I'm not the world's biggest Nintendo fan, but that list does the Cube's library a complete disservice.
EDIT:
Nevermind. I didn't realize the thread is 5 years old. Most of the games I listed weren't even released by that point! [/face_I_am_dumb]
I don't think you're giving Eternal Darkness enough credit. Not only were the sanity effects very fresh, very cool, and surprisingly well done, but the story is still one of the best for a survival horror game. The music and voice acting was great, too.

Thread necromancy at its finest. I am in awe.

Yeah, ED was definitely a good game, I just don't personally think it was "Cube Top 10" good.
When I played it, I remember thinking that franchises like Fatal Frame, Silent Hill and Resident Evil had decidedly more impact (in a scary/suspense way) than Eternal Darkness.
I'm more taken aback by people debating an NGC top 10 list from January 2003. How many titles were even released by then--half?

It's a Game of the Year list for 2002. Cube released in 2001, so 2002 was the first full year of its life.
That's also why you don't see Super Smash Bros on the list, as it released in 2001.

No Zelda game?

Yeah, I have to put Melee and Second Sight on this list. Sorry, Wind Waker in my mind does not belong here.
Should a mod just kill this thread, since everybody hates it so much? Just wondering.
We seem to have a compulsion to bury time capsules..... I have placed some large samples of dynamite, gunpowder, and nitroglycerin. My time capsule is set to go off in the year 3000. It will show them what we are really like.
