Seems a little early for a nostalgia tour- or has it been ten years already?

Actually, it's more like forming a tribute band in honor of your old band.

With a lead singer who doesn't look or sound at all like the original.

We are living in the end of days, it is only a matter of time before Axl and Michael merge into one hideous moster that will rain down fire and brimstone one earth.

Arise!

You can listen to Chinese Democracy for free on GNR's My Space page.

I feel all dirty inside but this thing is flat out kicking my ass. I'm on song 7 and I like every song so far.

Speaking of GNR, has anybody seen Steve Adler on Celebrity Rehab? HOLY sh*t.

Who?

They're all exceedingly awesome musicians. Bumblefoot's style is different to Buckethead but if possible he's even more of a virtuoso of the guitar, he is ridiculously good, not just technically but his music is great too. I saw him live and goddamn, best guitar player I've seen.

That said, I LOVE the Street of Dreams song so much, the solo is so, so good, I don't think there's anything close to it in current music. So many nuances in a short phrase. Sounds like Robin Finck's playing but since he left the band I wonder if someone else plays it.

Axl's cartoon image looks a whole lot like CliffyB.

Also, Sebastian Bach of Skid Row fame is GnR's Top friend #5. I find it extremely funny.

The sound is straight from Motely Crue's Dr Feelgood period -- when they were trying to stay dry or pretended to be.

I don't have the link, but apparently Axl Rose has been MIA for the past 2 months, and people say he's out trying to get the original Guns N Roses band together =)

He's apparently a super nice guy too, a real class act all around. I've never been much of a GNR fan and I think Axl is a pretentious tool but I'll pick up his f*cking CD for Buckethead and BBF.
