The Xbox Live Thread

So, willing to haul the cable modem up the stairs and down the stairs as necessary, I went out and picked up my Xbox Live today. And, it occured to me, that perhaps some of you might have Live as well, and might even want to get together occasionally for a rousing game of whatever the hell it is you play. So, here's a thread to let us know what your handle is and what games you've got for Live.
I haven't set up my account though, but barring any unforseen circumstances I will be ElysiumGWJ, and right now I've got NHL 2K3, and MechAssault.

I''ve only got a few live games as yet, NFL2K which I suck at, Mech Assault, which is really the only one I''ve messed much with so far, and Ghost Recon, which I haven''t even tried yet.
I need more damn time!! Stupid work and school!!! But if you get games going when I''ve free time, I''d love to jump in.

I was playing MechAssault for a long while (even though I suck at it) but finally gave up until they start releasing the new promised content. I''m so terrible at Team Destruction (and tired of Eminem wannabes on the other end of the data stream) that I''d rather wait until they put out the CTF mode before I pick it up again.
But if I''m playing with some cool people, i.e. all you guys, I''d be willing to reconsider.

You guys have gotta be cooler than most of the people I''ve encountered on Live so far. You''d think a guy who calls himself ""TEHKILLAH274"" and screams Tupac lyrics after every kill would be a pretty charismatic and charming guy. Or 10 years old, I''m not sure which.

Come on Microsoft, we need more Live games. Live needs a car racer bad. MotoGP is cool but god do I suck at it. I''ve yet to meet a worse player than me on Live. Elysium, you''re my last hope.

I play lots of Mech Assault, look for me.
It would be nice to play with some people who won''t drop connection just because they are losing or are out numbered by one.
When live was first released people would play no matter what.
If they were outnumbered 4 - 1 they would still play, now people will drop if they are losing by 1 kill. I would love to play with some people who are just trying to have fun and don''t consider their kill count to be a gauge of the entertainment level of a particular match.

I''ve been curious about XBox Live. The only problem I have right now is what do I want to play on it?
I''m not big into sports games, so that leaves out a couple.
I''m also not too keen on UT type games (''cause I suck).
And none of my friends own an XBox.
The biggest interest stems from MechAssault for me, but I''m just not sure I want to sink the money into it and end up playing with a bunch of kids that talk like Eminem.
That and I know I''d get odd looks from the wife.

Mumford, Give XBL a shot. Mech Assault can be VERY fun, especially once you get some nice people on your friends list.
Even if you decide you don''t like Mech Assault, at least you will have the service in case a game you DO like comes out.
