Horizons question

I know not everyone is planning on jumping right into Horizons, but I'm sure many of you are as well. I fall in the latter catagory. My question is: will there be the traditional selection of server/shard/world? If there is, I'd like to find out where the GWJ community will gravitate. If not, I'll see you all there.

Well the guild that Certis, Cloke and I were in when we played the beta is going to play on the server ""Bounty"" so I would imagine if I were to pick this up that would be where I would go.

I will be on Shadow with my guild which consists of players from SWG, EQ, and DaOC. We''ve got a pretty good following of about 20 now and always willing to take on more fun mature players. We''ve got a great diverse community of crafters and adventurers and will be building as soon as we can generate enough funds through our crafters. Come join us on Shadow, it should be fun

Just got installed (just in time to go to work) but don''t see a Bounty server. I''m guessing that server hasn''t gone live yet, or filled up hella quick.

Yes, but from what I''ve heard Bounty won''t be up until some of the others are full, so I think our guild may jump on one of the others. I doubt our guild can stand to wait very long.

That''s wierd, I still can''t reach it (my work network is odd.) Well, apparently (I think) the ign horizon vault is their offical forum. Judging from that forum the launch seems to be going pretty smooth.
I hope you guys playing Horizons keep us all posted.
Try just try straight www.istaria.com. Yeah usual post release wining, they did just find a good size memory leak but nothing to dramatic over all except a lot guilds seem pissed about the way they are staging the server populations. Hopefully things will continue to go well for them, every good released I think helps the industry on the whole.

Cool, glad to finally see one of these go smoothly. What are the populations looking like? Heavy or sparse?
LG, the Shadow server seems lightly populated, expecially out in the main continent. Granted I''ve only run around for a few hours and visited a couple of the towns outside the noob island. I''ve yet to find out where the popular hangout spots are.
The quality of the population seems great though. I haven''t seen a griefer yet. Seems like most are helpful and appreciative of help.
Anyone on Shadow is welcome to send me (Xexix) a tell. Currently a 10th cleric.
