What ONE game would you pay to download?
Thursday, August 3rd, 2006 - 2:41am
I decided to start this thread mostly because I am excited, yet a bit sceptical about the Wii's Virtual Console feature ( I mean they haven't even released a price list.) But anyway, in a perfect world, if you owned a Wii, and the Virtual Console worked as planned what one game from the past would you pay money to download and play again?
As far as we know, Virtual Console will have access to the NES, SNES, and 64 libraries as well as a greatest hits selection to the TurboGrafx and Sega Genesis.
My choice is so obvious it has me drooling for the Virtual Console...Legacy of the Wizard.
Man I miss Pochi. He was such a great little, slime...dog...lizard...pink thing.
"On the sixth day God created man...a week later man returned the favor."

Maybe this is one reason I'm still mostly on the other side of the fence when it comes to wanting a Wii. I can't think of any game on the Virtual Console thing that I want. Live Arcade seems to be reading my mind when it comes to this part. Bringing Sonic, Joust and any Pinball is the 1-2-3 knockout combo it takes to win me over.

WAR - Dolz
Shadowrun for Genesis, if that happens to be available.

If I didn't already own it for Genesis, I'd agree. However, I would pay for any of the first three Phantasy Star games, the first Paper Mario, the Dragon Warrior games for NES, and loads of other games that I won't begin to list.

Duck hunt withe the wand sound compelling to me. And wasn't goldeneye a very good game, and maybe perfect for the wand controller.
I don't watch, I interact!
Easy. Dracula X (Dracula X: Chi no Rondo . .Rondo of Blood)
MaxShrek .. The reason you keep falling, is there is no bottom.
Horror Vacui
Chrono Trigger for the Snes (it would be the fourth system that i will have played it on).
Also if any one remembers the game Leathal Enforcers for the SNES, it came with a light gun, That might be cool on the Wii.
A next-gen Steel Battalion. I would easily pay $60 for that.

Secret of Mana. Or if we are allowed fantasy titles, Secret of Mana 2 (Seiken Densetsu 3).

The choices depend on price, so for a cheaper title, I'd probably go with Final Fantasy 3, and nearly full priced, let's say Grim Fandango!

Hmm... this is a bit tough, as I've never been much of a console gamer. The first thing I'd download would be Duck Hunt, for my wife. Then about two weeks later, when she lets me on it again... hmmm.... probably Rogue Squadron or Goldeneye. I think it would come down to the price.
