Anybody else here play Progress Quest? We should form a GWJ guild if there's anyone else out there.

Yeah... my talking pony Mage/Illusioner is 45 now and he is fun like hell. I killed 5 beer golems yesterday...solo! My Cone of Annoyance spell roxxors.
The only thing i''m missing is a better weapon. My +34 Venomed Poachard is lame... if someone has a better one, i could trade with a few storm giant barometers or some fire giant cigarettes.
My lvl 52 Double Wookiee Inner Mason is doing pretty well, but I do wish I could push my Animate Tunic spell past level V; lvl XXX Spectral Oyster just isn''t getting the job done anymore...
Oh, and Grim, I could swap you a +33 Stabbity Invisible Peen-arm for, say, a Proverbial Albatross of Efficiency?

Not to sound like a killjoy but, isn''t this a long way to go just to say Everquest takes too long? I''ve had it running for 10 minutes and I''m only a third of the way to level 2.
Downloaded the newest version today, and started up a new character...
Was wondering if anyone else was still playing this classic gem?

Wow, I used to keep this game running on my PC at work 8-9 years ago. Think I got around level 80 as well.
Went threw a couple of class/race characters this weekend.
My Gnome Mage leveled up pretty fast while I was out mowing my yard, and trimming the hedges… Not sure exactly what a Cone of Paste would be used for…

Anyone feel like exploring this together? Not in a multiplayer sense, it doesn't support that AFAIK, but just to jump in as a group and share the experience over Vent.
