$15 (1200 points) for the whole shebang. A bit pricey, but I'll get it.

But wasn't all the new stuff in a free patch for the PC version?

Arg. Tough decision. $10 would have been a bit painful, but I could have just swallowed it and bought it anyway. At $15, I'll have to either give it some serious thought, or get swept up in a spur of the moment impulse buy.

I got struck by the Marketplace bug when the X360 just came out, and MS gave me a free 1600 point credit for my trouble, so I've had that burning a hole in my account.

There is no way I am supporting Ubi on this one, that is way too much for the content provided. They gave more away for nothing for GR2 then this pack includes.

600 points I could swallow, 1200 is way way too much.

My days of not taking you seriously have certainly come to a middle.

It's not? I saw an article that said it was on Evil Avatar. I'm not home to check it myself.

Even Ubisoft said it was out... however I've been checking the Marketplace and forums and it's not there! Plus Major Nelson did not yet update his site...

Still, this beats the poop out of those Oblivion mods and their prices. I think.

I wonder how Ubisoft is going to justify 1200mp for 4 new maps, 2 game types and 1 new weapon!

-edit-

Also, it seems like Xbox 360 are getting a short end of the stick! Ubisoft released 2 map packs and a Map editor for PC for free!

Well that's $15 that will be going towards a shiny new DS game that isn't made by Ubisoft.

Oh really? Currently all the additional Oblivion content is worth $10.65 combined. Compared to four new maps at $15.00 I'd call it a draw at best.

And when you take out the pointless Horse Armor pack, its even less

I've still only bought the wizards tower. If they release a bulk pack that costs less than buying them all individually I might go for it..

but this GRAW thing, yeah. Show Ubisoft that the price is bad by not downloading it.

Yeah, I played through all the Oblivion content except the most recent thing, and some of it was pretty cool. Not sure if it was worth the cost, but the imortant thing is that they got the money off me $2 at a time. I know it's all a psychological thing, but I just don't feel as negative towards the idea as I do towards the cost of this GRAW stuff. 4 new maps and 8 sort of new maps is a lot, plus one of the new weapons sounds like my ideal riffleman gun, but paying $15 at once for an add on pack is just not sitting well with my thrifty mind.

Just to note, 8 relit maps are 4 old maps (Fishing Village, Wharf, Old Town, Nowhere) and 4 new co-op maps (Coffee Plantation, Shipping Port, River Depot, Jungle Mines).
The new weapons are not technically new... the only new weapon is the Silent Sniper rifle (SR-25 SD), other are the same as they were (M468 and M468/M320... which I've been using for 2 month now).

Certis beat me to it, but yeah, all the Oblivion content together is less than this one GRAW download, and has more content than this update. The other best thing is, with the Oblivion updates, you can pick and choose just the ones you want. I've only picked up three of them.

Okay I just checked, it's available for me. 1200 points, and it's near the bottom of a long list of GRAW videos and theme/picture packs. #24 out of 28, in fact. I am still balking at the price. Part of me hopes that they'll drop the price in the future, or eventually release it for free like they did with the Halo2 map packs.

Yeah, that's just a bit too steep for my taste. I was holding out the hope it might have been free, but I would have gone up to 10$ probably.

I'm downloading it, simply because I will get my $15 bucks out of it. However, I did kick and scream about the HL2: Ep 1 price, and I feel the same here. $30,000 car, plus 50% = $45K, etc, etc.

Nei and I will probably post our reviews tonight. Perhaps, if the 4 maps are the size and complexity of Treasury, then perhaps the price is justified. Perhaps. I don't blame anyone for waiting to get this, except Nei

I do believe that Ubisoft eventually released all the Splinter Cell maps for free. However, Rainbow Six fans have been putting up with ridiculously priced expansion packs for years, so I doubt this trend will go away.

We shall grapple with the ineffable, and see if we may not eff it after all.

Sigh... downloading it now, really slow.

My view on it is that, they might gain $15 from me today... but they lost $120 in future. I'm not going to buy SC:DA nor RS: V!

So you're robbing yourself of what appear to be 2 awesome games for 4 chintzy coop maps? What the heck kind of logic is that?

Hrmm my translator must have been broken at work. I guess what I was trying to say is that the perceived value of the GRAW stuff seems to offer more than the Oblivion stuff, not that it costs less. Or something like that. How many hours of missions do the Oblivion packs offer, 3-6 tops? I don't know so I'm asking I can see the multiplayer maps on GRAW getting rocked longer than a few Obliviquests, so even though the price sucks, if you play a lot it could be worthwhile.

Ugh. I don't know. Souldaddy (or someone else who has downloaded it), can you check and see if you can use the new weapons even if you are playing with someone who hasn't bought the DLC? If so, I might break down...
