It's going to be live-action.
That's too bad. I was hoping Blizzard would let their CGI artists go feature-length.

Live action is a little disappointing. Blizzard's CGI team has been top notch pretty much since it was created. They've got talented artists, animatiors, writers and directors. I've been hoping they'd spin off to a full featured animation house to make a feature length CGI movie. Oh well.

Half the movie will be the group waiting for the rest of their party to show up at the instance. In the meantime, the folks waiting will be dancing, dueling, spitting, and telling stories of these two gnomes and their bracelet of power.

A game adaption headed by a solid studio. I'm intrigued.
I doubt Blizzard's artists really could create a full-length movie of the expected quality. It just goes a bit beyond their personnel. Maybe they'll get to animate the monsters...
And if I haven't seen further, it's because those bloody giants blocked my sight.

Yeah 90 mins of waiting, and a quick wipe once they get inside!

Bah, live action? Unless they pull of a lord of the rings type of budget.. I don't see it working. CGI or animated would work better.
We're talking about a blockbuster-kind of studio here. I don't think the budget will be the issue.

I hope they sell Savory Deviate Delight at the concession stand.

As long as they don't follow the footsteps of pervious movies based on games, this is fantastic news!

A CGI version would've worked better for me. I can't see a live action version doing very well - but I'll guess we'll find out soon enough.
