The new Harry Potter book will be out on June 21st of 2003.

I can't wait to read it.

Like I mentioned in the article comment, I''ve not yet read a Harry Potter book. I''ve been meaning to, but keep falling short of actually buying. Potter may very well answer the question to my most recent post.

Well apparently the author is done with the seventh book and that is it...

The final book and then Potter is over with.

You really should pick them up. The first one is slow but once you hit the third book you''ll love them. I''ve not heard of too many people who don''t enjoy them.

I agree - they''re not just for kids anymore, I found them to be entertaining to say the least...

Finally! I was late to jump on the Harry Potter band wagon, not till the third book, but once I did I was hooked. They''re just so much fun!

I tried a few times a year ago, they just didn''t seem to stick with me.

I''ll stick to some Dragonlance, Forggotten Realms, and Robert Jordan for my fantasy needs

Ya. Don''t want good fantasy getting inbetween all that slop!

So sweet that this is coming out?

I just have a couple of questions:
1. If the book is done, does it really take 6 months to prepare it for distrubtion or are they trying to tie it in with the movie?

2. What would people like to see in the new book?

They still haveto edit it, get it ready to go to print, and print the books up. They are also launching it in a lot of areas on the same day.

2. I want to find out why Voldormort (sp) went after Harry''s parents.

I read Harry Potter the first time when my sister came up with it, ""here Gijs read this"" m''kay. Needless to say I was hooked in minutes, even though the first two are of less quality there is much to discover. Couldn''t stop reading untill I finished Goblet of Fire. Now in a return favor I hooked my sister up with Lord of the Rings, now she will never go back to reading crap 8)
