This weekend we're planning to pick up MC again with the [url=http://www.clangroups.com/Guild.aspx?GuildID=34862&TabID=310523]SGA[/url]. We really need 30+ people for a run. We have been a couple of times before and it has been great fun, but we haven't downed our first boss yet. If you are 57+ and can make it Saturday night, even for just 60-90 minutes, please sign up on the SGA site.
Please note for this you *must* use CTRaid and have Ventrilo, even if just to listen like me, and you must be MC attuned. Attuning is a relatively easy quest in BRD that a group of five 60s can blast through in under an hour.

Do you have a SGA account yet? I don't think you can see the events until you do. Once you do, on the left side should be a list of upcoming events, similar to how it is on GWJ.

Yeah, I'm having problems with the site too. I have an account that's registered as a member of SGA. But, I can't create a character to sign up with. I guess I'll talk to someone from CoA tonight about it.
Fidd and Paint, I don't see characters on the memberlist for either of you guys, which is why you don't see the events. I had some problems adding my character too, the site is kind of wonky.
Go to the very top of the screen once you get logged in and click Characters / Settings. You'll probably get a screen with preferences. Click Save at the bottom of that page. Now refresh that a few times with the Refresh button until you see the character page flash by and then click Back to get to it and add a character. I have to do this in IE 6.
I had to jump through the same hoops as Leap with Firefox. The person who designed that whole website is a moron, but it's hard to beat the price.

I'm going to try to hit level 60 for the raid on Saturday, but can we set up an event sometime before the MC raid to get people like me attuned for MC?
I think we are shooting for one tomorrow night Lyserg, before/after the regular guild raid where I think we are heading to LBRS.
If you want to go another time, don't forget to ask in the SGA channel! I know of at least one spur of the moment attunement run already this week with SGA.
If you guys go for an attunement run tomorrow after the regular raid then I'm in, but I won't be able to get on until after class - about 7:30-8:00 log on time. As for the SGA channel, I'm still trying to figure that out.
It's channel NewSGA Lyserg, just do a /join NewSGA.

You actually have to JOIN SGA to see the events it seems. I have an account from the GWJ version of that site not the SGA one. My application is pending so leap if you can take care of that it'd be nice

Yep. The approval process is done by a human, so I'm guessing you'll have to wait until they get home from work/school/the amber waves of grain.

Yes, there are a couple of people from CoA that do the new member approvals, but usually you get them same day.
It looks like there are 31-32 people signed up right now, so assuming everyone shows up we should have a run! Even if you have technical difficulties on the SGA site and can't manage to sign-up before tomorrow night, be online anyway are there will probably be a few spots open.
Snizzles will try to make it. Since I can't be 100% sure, I won't sign up at this time. Hope to be there!

Just a little notice about yesterday's run... We hit 5 bosses yesterday in ZG... went great! With only 2 priests but 4 mages we were rocking the place. Sorry Leaps, no Fang of Venoxis, but some type of epic Flowing Robes of something with 25 int and +30 some to healing and spells dropped off the spider boss. Oh, btw, spider boss only took about 20 mins to clear her area, and that's with waiting for 2 people to show up as we lost a couple. We ran most of the instance with 18-19 people because we kept spots open for healers in hopes that a couple more would show up. Dang authentication servers were going nuts yesterday night.
Nearly took out the water boss too, had him down to 5-10% (about 25k in health) but he took us out. We only had about 16 people at that point because it was a last second decision after picking up some mud things. I think we've gotten a pretty good hang of ZG right now, and I can pretty much say that it was the funnest and quickest run we've done in there. Hope that reflects in MC tonight! Ragnaros is going Dizz-own!

Water boss? Which is that one?
Water boss is the one that looks like Gahzrilla's older bro. You have to get the mudskippers to feed the fish around the cliff by the snake boss and then the Water boss comes out. BTW I think that because we have a new system to fight the spiders, they might get into the rotation. Only 3 deaths with it and it takes like 8 mins. It's also hella good for rep as each mini spider you kill gives you 4 rep, and we were AoEing like a dozen at a time. Damn raid only produced Bronze Bijous... like 6 of them, 2-3 from the spiders alone.
P.S. Dusty was hoping we could get as many people as possible to log on early (like 6:30 CST) so we could discuss raid groups and strategies... just passing that along. Oh, and I think these dropped from the boss Leap http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=20032.
