I have Amazon Prime, which means I can watch all of Buffy for free. When I can stream. Wish I could download it to my wi-fi iPad for watching on the train to and from work.

Well, at least I can watch it for free at home.

Can you not download Amazon Prime content in the new iPad app? I know you can download content you've purchased through Amazon.

Nope. Unless I'm missing something (other than the damned SEARCH button they assinine-ly chose not to add to the app) you can only download purchased content. Prime content is stream-only.

Umibōzu illustration from the Japanese monster encyclopedia Yōkai Jiten.
Shigeru Mizuki, b. 1922

The Umibōzu is said to live in the ocean and capsize the ship of anyone who dares speak to it. This spirit's name, which combines the character for "sea" with the character of "Buddhist monk".

HOLY CRAP that illustration is amazing and seems to create a whole world in and of itself. I'd make that my desktop pic, but I'd get lost looking at it for hours, I fear.

Always wondered what happen if one of the ghosts ate a power pellet.

Thank you for the nightmares. BRB, running from the ocean.

Buffy is worth watching just for the musical episode. The first season is rough though and at some points some of the other season feel like they are just dragging everything out.

But the first season has The Pack, which is the greatest episode of anything ever and I will fight you if you think any different.

That's the kind of wooly-headed liberal thinking that leads to being eaten.

HA!

Looks a bit more like Workaholics. Unless it's the cats from Workaholics doing a cameo.

"Giant monster", e.g. Godzilla, Gamera, Mothra, etc.

So you can't stay in the NO! zone, but what about 140?

If you can get the car to that speed, well then damn it you deserve to know.

Kaiju is a Japanese word that means "strange beast," but often translated in English as "monster". Classically it may refer to any bizarre creature but in recent times is typically associated with a genre of tokusatsu entertainment.

Related terms include kaiju eiga (monster movie), a film featuring giant monsters or a single monster, kaijin (referring to roughly humanoid monsters) and daikaiju (giant monster), specifically meaning the larger variety of monsters.

The most famous kaiju is Godzilla. Other well-known kaiju include Gamera, Mothra, Rodan and Yonggary.

Never heard of the last one though, I think King Kong should be on that list instead.

Especially since you can't get it above 3000 rpm. If by some miracle you did manage it, you might be able to sustain it at 8000 rpm, but that sounds unlikely.

According to Facebook they're at risk of dying. That might expect why they weren't at Philly Comic-Con this year.

Looks like it is time to give someone my money.

True, except...
