Looks like I''m up against Logan and Legion yet again this week. Every time I think I''m out... they keep pulling me back in.

Wow is a five day window to schedule games the norm? If so no wonder it seems like I have no time to get games scheduled. I''m gonna have to ask for an extension this week as i''ll be out of town for the weekend giving me tonight and monday night only to get a game in. Also I would vote we go to a permanent seven day schedule and move the week up early if everyone gets their games in.

I try to be accomodating but please try to get your game played within the timeframe (i.e. ""tonight or Monday night"") because 1) we need to keep this thing moving and 2) it will knock the two leagues out of sync again. Regardless, just keep me/the league aprised and we''ll decide on the extension once it''s a bit closer.

Grumpy I didn''t doubt it had been five days the entire time I just conciously thought about it because I was trying to schedule a game with Psycho and realized that if we don''t get our game in tonight then it looks like monday night is the only other night we have. For some reason I was just under the delusion that the weeks were the same as they were in the first league.

I understand the reasons for going with the five day schedule at the beginning of the league but based on the fact that many people are not getting their games played I would rather see a seven day schedule and more games get played. If no one else is with me that''s fine but considering the one league that actually was played through to completion used a seven day week and the fact that many of us are forced to try and schedule two league games a week because of the league split, I would think that maybe we need to re-evaluate some of the settings for the league and see if we can improve things.

I understand. I have yet to not grant an extension whenever someone has told me that they would get their game played if only the deadline got pushed back a day (sometimes even two). Now admittedly, I''m more inclined to grant it to those who have been consistent participants and have made a visible effort (i.e. posted in the thread) to get their game played during the week... but so far, I''ve not denied a request. (Two examples off the top of my head are when Legion and Logan lost their cable modem and when you recently suggested we add a day for Valentine''s Day.) I''m not inclined to say ""don''t sweat the deadline"" because then people will get lazy but do your best to get your games played and if, on rare occasions, you need an extra day, let me know; chances are you''ll get it. Zer gut? Gut.

Doesn''t matter to me one way or the other, but I did notice in the last two games that had weather, the lag was pretty bad.

No, you''re right, the rain made it sluggish, but certainly playable. I think Grump''s with me on our snow game that the lag was no less than awful.

Our game just kind of reminded me of a question I meant to ask a week or two ago.

Hey Fletch Sunday is probably not going to be good for me. If you want to try for Saturday evening we can do that. I usually play after 9:30 central. If not this weekend, we''ll play Monay Night.
