WoW: Blackhand Blacksmith

My friend mentioned that GWJ Horde doesn't really have a guild smith. Just wanted everyone to know, while not very experienced (only have 170 ranks), I'd be willing to help out with anyone's blacksmithing needs. Provide me the raw materials, and I'll provide you with the goods

Been awhile since I've said anything in here. Just got weaponsmithing a few days ago, and thinking of going the swordsmithing route. Does the horde guild have a swordsmith? Or is there perhaps another weaponsmith role that desperately needs to be filled?

Axesmith is better, Arcanite Reaper is a much sought after axe.

Branes has most all the axesmith plans covered. (but heck he is hardly on anymore)
And I think Fitzsane is going to go sword smith.

There is also hammersmith(worthless) and armorsmith(also worthless) most of the smithing is, you can find/buy way better gear.

If any of you ever need a weapon made, I'm a swordsmith, with plans for Arcanite Champion, Frostguard, and Heartseeker dagger. I'd be happy to do any combines for free if mats are supplied, just let me know.
BoV also has an Axesmith with Arc Reaper plan, but hes not on very often, so If you need that made get with me and I can track him down for you.

My level 24 Shammy is a smith currently at around 100...I was planning on going the hammersmith route as i don't think the guild has a hammersmith?
as a side note I am finding it very slow to level Blacksmithing in general and a money sink lol.....but I plan to stick with it so if you need a hammer look me up...
Also any bs plans that nobody wants on drops i will gladly accept.

Like I mentioned the other night, I hit 275 with Leapsalot Monday. I have found if you want the items you can make to keep up with you level-wise, yes it is expensive because you just don't mine enough mats. For example you are just getting into mithril mines around 40, but all the level 40 items take mithril! If you don't mind not using the stuff you make and you're really just in it for the 275+ items, I think the cheapest way is just to take what you mine and save it until you have a bank full, then go on a smithing binge making the cheapest thing you can over and over, even if it is levels and levels behind you.
I got from 235 to 275 on almost exclusively mithril spurs. I would make about 15 pairs at a time and then sell them for 25 silver. Definitely taking a loss, but at least making a little money back.
Or blow every scrap of gold you have on mats and just power smith, thats what I did a couple times, bought about 25-30gp worth of mats and i am now up to 273, bah, Leap you passed me. BTW, what smith are you doing? Reap if he ever gets back is Axe, I'm sword.

Yeah i plan to go the cheap way out as i do not have the funds to spare to spend on bars of whatever in the AH...Its gonna be a long haul anyway i look at it but thats the fun of it too....It looks like as well that having a good rep with the Thorium brotherhood will be a wise move as some of the recipes i could get from them are nice....dunno if they sell well. Lots of BRD runs will be needed for the dark iron it seems also. Anyone in the guild making dark iron smelting runs on a consistent basis?

Haven't decided yet. I already went weaponsmith, now it's just a point of picking, but I think I need to get to 52 first? Currently 45.
I don't recall. I would recomend the axe though, arcanite reaper is still high in demand even with the nerf.
