Isn''t EB sells it for 20$?

I posted about it last week when Gamestop was offering a $20 coupon towards your next game on it. I''d been thinking about picking it up anyway but that sealed the deal for me. I posted a few impressions of the demo too, I thought it was pretty good and should be a blast on live.

Has anybody else been playing Phantom Dust recently? I got my copy about a week ago and am having a great time.

The setup of the single player campaign is not my favorite as it involves running around and talking to random people trying to find the next mission, but the missions themselves are an excellent tutorial on the ins and outs of the unusual gameplay. The missions also garner you some cash which can be used to build an arsenal for online play.

I built my first arsenal and took it online a few nights ago and had a great time though it was obvious that a lot of people take this game far more seriously than myself. Not that people weren''t pleasant enough to play with, they were. But it quickly became apparent that my haphazard arsenal was no match for their well planned attacks.

Perhaps if anyone else here is playing we can organize a casual game sometime to ease the transition into online play. If nothing else some of us can earn a few wins towards those ultra rare skills. There are 40 of them and one is given at random for every 30 Xbox Live wins. Personally ... I''m 29 wins away from my first ultra rare.

I plan to pick it up tomorrow, along with Chaos Theory.

I''m only on Chapter 3, gwartok so my skill set is pretty limited, but if I''ll add you to my friends list (unless you add me first) and try to play a few games with you sometime this week or next. Hopefully I can finish the game within a week or so and then start building a few good arsenals.

In the meantime, I''ve got a few questions for you. Once you use a power in an arsenal is it unavailable for your other arsenals? This seemed to be the case with me last night, but I may have just been confused about a few of the skills I had. Also, did you get all 300 standard powers throughout the course of beating the campaign?

I saw you online the last two days, but on Wed I was playing Halo with my brothers and by the time I switched over to Phantom Dust you were gone and last night I saw you on a little later, but I was sucked into WoW for the evening. I''ll keep looking for you, though.

Sounds like a good plan. I''ve played a couple random arsenal games online, they can be quite fun when you get some new goody. It gets kinda like Gir going ''what''s this do? what''s that do?''
