Checking the server status page reveals that Blackhand is supposedly up. No dice for me. I can get on other realms but not Blackhand. Any other GWJs have an issue with this?

I have the same ''authenticating'' problems right now too. BH has been squirrely for about 5-6 hours. I couldn''t get back my ''main'' character (Alliance) back then. It would authenticate, but couldn''t retrieve my character list. Then an hour later, ''World down'', but as you say go to their site and it''s up. Hour later, I could log one Alliance character, but not my ''main'' (which happen to have just died when it ''went down'' so that might be a problem). When I got in from my other Alliance, the 6 on from GWJ Alliance Guild all chimed in it''s been laggy, or down or etc. BUT nothing from Blizzard.
The Realm Status forum claims that they are ""aware"" of the problem. The thread was from about twenty minutes ago, so it must be relatively recent

Tried to post to the ''Realm Status'' forums. And...''Login Server down'' (same with ''General Forums''.)
Btw, throughout the day, on the login screen to the left, they listed problem servers. BH was not listed. You have to go to the ''Realm Status'' pages (not(!) the status list itself, which showed no problem), to see that they are rebotting etc., etc.
Oh well, if only I could of had AC:The Battle of Bull Run or something.
It ended up being a rough night right before and after the server reboot for me and then everything just cleared up. I was able to play for at least 2 hours without a single issue. Mail and AH were even somewhat fast.
However, I must express my disgust with the server crash/rollback issue. I can handle multiple crashes but please don''t let us lose exp (I lost a bubble) or items (I lost 15 mithril ore). I got a rare drop right before the last crash BUT somehow it was still in my bag when the server came back up, whew!
I did have fun playing on a PvP server while Blackhand was down though.

I was just so annoyed with the lag/server resets last night, and the fact that for some reason my who window kept popping up, even if I had the mail box opened. I just logged out and read a book the rest of the night.
It wouldn''t let me see Blackhand. I could log in, but was then shown the ""Choose a Server"" screen. About 1/2 the servers were listed and they were all low population ones. Maybe a subtle suggestion from Blizzard?
I tried from about 7:40 to 9:00 pm on Sunday and could never get in.

Unless you're running out of mana overhealing is the most worthless stat in the game. Underhealing is effectively known as "wiping".
I think some have already joined a PvP server but it seems that they did not go with the same server. I started one on Mal''Ganis last night but I won''t play it much I bet. I like the idea of PvP but I know the frustration that would happen with trying to get stuff done and I don''t think I have the right mentality for it. I started an undead rogue because that would be the least frustrating to play on PvP because of stealth.
But, in the end, I have so much time invested in a PvE toon (14+ days already) that I don''t see me ever going full time on another server. Just my opinion.

When Blackhand was down yesterday, I went immediately to my PVP character on Thunderlord and got two levels (technically, 1.5 but I went from 16.75 to 18.25) - yea! If you''re interested, my character names are in my sig and I can probably get you in the guild that recruited me.
That being said, if someone is even more established on a different PVP server and wants to offer it up as an unofficial GWJ alt... I''d probably join you.

Blackhand is down but only half of it. The western kingdoms (Lorderon?) is up but the eastern kingdoms (Kalimdore?) are down apparently.
