Best Show on TV - your thoughts?
So, from our WOW conversation last night - what is the best show on TV?
I know a lot of you are Lost converts - but the show does nothing for me...maybe I missed too many episodes, but just doesn't work for me.
Now...on the other end - my best show on TV...not even close...
Boston Legal - if you haven't seen this, you must. Spader and Shatner are golden - their interactions are legendary, and Spader is the guy we all wish we could be deep down as a man...just watch, you'll see. Check it out...but its my fave easily, and I'm a sci-fi guy...lol

NIP/TUCK is my favorite and I am glad to see the Globes gave them some nominations.
LOST is of course quality work.
That is all I watch.
Xbox Live: Kooter06
My personal list (top to bottom):
LOST - Love it and it''s about the only show my wife and I can agree on.
BATTLESTAR GALACTICA - I''m borderline obsessing on this show for reasons I can''t put my finger on. I was slightly too young to remember the original, but still old enough to have a toy Colonial Viper in my room. It kicked the X-wing''s ass daily in all those backyard dogfights I''d have. I think seeing similar-looking tech wrapped in a smarter package just makes me happy. On the whole, the characters are being well developed too.
BOSTON LEGAL - For all the reasons that Pigpen described. Denny Crane.
The quality that has been released this season has been surprising. Is it just that reality TV has lowered the bar?
Psychotic Foreign Teenage Chicks are so hot. - Legion
...they can also come bathe in the glorious, healing light of my Johnson. - Prederick
the comment last night about his chubby...I''m still chuckling about that...
''Denny Crane'' it is!
I can''t believe I missed Battlestar Galactica...I''m saddened to the max on that one!

Battlestar Galactica and Arrested Development
Arrested Developement and Scrubs.
"Raise high the black flags, my children."
-- Gebhard von Blucher.
Arrested Development, 24, Scrubs, The West Wing (I''m a recent convert to this show, Thanks Elysium!) and Battlestar Galatica.
For instance, there are 108 beads in a Catholic rosary and there are 108 stitches in a baseball. When I learned that, I gave Jesus a chance. ~Ron Shelton, Bull Durham, 1988
EFF, how did i miss arrested dev. last night. Damn.
Anyways, I''m into Lost, 24 and...Seinfeld reruns.
I barely watch TV anymore, and when I do, it''s basically just Pardon The Interruption.

Does The Wire count even though it''s on HBO?
Xbox Live: hubbinsd
It''s not TV it''s HBO.

Carnivale.
Unfortunately, if I slash my wrist with my lightsaber it cauterizes instantly. - PurEvil on emo Star Wars plots.
Cops and some of the Adult Swim shows. The Venture Brothers is (are?) hilarious in my opinion.
Every once in awhile I try to broaden my horizons, but fail. The sitcoms make my skin crawl. I tried watching a few minutes of The Surreal Life because a friend suggested it to me. Deducting charity money for each crying baby? Classy. It might be that any parent willing to leave their child at a reality show house in the first place could benefit from two slaps across the mouth.
I may give Boston Legal and a few of the others a shot. I''ve had good luck with recommendations from this community.
Got any toast?
I''m loving Lost right now, as well as my daily dose of the Daily Show. I''m so far liking the new season of 24, I was not a fan of the last season or two of it.
The parodies of the Fantastic Four were a riot. I liked the Race Bannon cameo, too.

I don''t watch TV. I remember Scrubs was really good and if I had time and a TV I would still watch it.

Last time I actively watched TV, Quantum Leap was on. And I don''t mean in reruns. I did tape and watch later most of Voyager though to be honest...

Unless you count 10 minutes of the Weather Channel before I go to sleep.
Gotham City is in trouble, so I put on a rubber suit and go save innocents from psychotic men in stage makeup. It's more straightforward than you might think. - Sanjuro
Lost, Scrubs, Survivor, and Happy Days reruns.

The Ghost in the Shell 2nd series is probably the only show I really look forward to these days. I usually watch several others but none that I think are the ""best"", that would be Farscape
.
Spooks was a favorite until about half way through series 3.
Westwing has grown on me the past 2 years.
Alias and 24 are okay but are going down hill..fast. I have more hope for 24 though.
Battlestar Galactica is pretty good.
The Stargate shows are still decent.
I spend way more time these days playing WoW or xbox or on the web than watching tv. Too much reality tv crap.
Buffy and Angel.
Oh, crap...
I actually don''t have TV anymore. I never broke down and picked up an antenna for my TV, and I haven''t had cable for a year now. I get Lost episodes off BT, but I''ve given up on newer West Wing. Other than that, I normally just watched the news.

I don''t want too much TV, but currently my favorites are:
Arrested Development
The Dead Zone
Reno 911
Chapelle''s Show
Twenty-Four and Deadwood hands down.
I''m very surprised so few people have mentioned Deadwood.

I forgot about Daily Show. I nominate the Daily Show as well.
