A Challenge for the group...

So my girlfriend has been playing Sims 2 a lot lately and what she enjoys most is the house design aspects. She's having a blast working and reworking the look and decor of her "dream house", but she's not at all interested in the "gameplay" elements of the Sims. Unfortunately, since the game itself is interested in keeping everything functional for the main mode of play, it really limits her choices on the design side.

So here is what I'm asking: I've been racking my brain to think of another game - or, hell, even DESIGN program - that focuses exclusively on the stuff she wants to do. Is there ANYTHING like that? Guys? Help a brother make his little lady happy.

I found this website. It looks pretty interesting and there is a demo available. Dunno how complex it is to use though. I also found the home design to be the most engaging part of the Sims 2. I quickly grew tired of minding my Sims hygene and other such mundane tasks.

Try the world builder off of the morrowind pack. I don''t know how to use it, but your supposed to be able to design stuff easily with it. Again, I don''t know, good luck though. (on a side note... you could just have her enter cheat codes, and just design a house)

They make a decent Home and Lawn designer software. I have seen it at Best Buy a couple of times... Try that - I dont think it was too pricey.
