Yeah I just read this on GI.biz - crazy stuff!
So I''m clueless of the whole ATI vs Nvidia debate - which do you guys think is the better, and why?

This is awesome news. I have Nvidia stock.
BF2
BF2142
Both have some fast hardware right now.
ATI''s drivers for non-Windows systems suck. And even their Windows drivers seem more likely to be tweaky than nVidia drivers.
I like ATI''s gear, but I''m pissed about their drivers.

Well, that''s certainly a big plus for Nvidia. Even though ATI scored both Nintendo and MS platforms, Sony has a larger market share than both of them combined. I''ve never owned an ATI card (short of the one in my GC), but have no reason to consider ATI or Nvidia as better manufacturer''s. They each have strengths and weaknesses, but in the end, both produce awe-inspiring hardware. I tend to stick with Nvidia because of proven driver support, and because I know how to configure the options to get what I want from nvidia cards. I have no desire to relearn everything to get ATI cards working how I want.

I believe the XBox currently has an nVidia chip in it?
