Hey Sanjuro I can play our game tonight (tuesday) can you play at 6pm CST? If not I''m free after that tonight. Wednesday I''m free from 5pm-6pm CST. Thursday cannot play at all.

ejay, I''m pretty sure Sanjuro is west coast... but I don''t know if he works traditional hours so it may be a moot point.

Karrde, get that network connection stabilized and let''s play. If anyone wants a warm-up/practice game tonight, look me up on IM/Xfire and let''s go. Yes, I missed 2k5 even more than WoW. (Actually, now that I think about it, drop me a PM and let''s try to schedule something b/c I don''t feel like sitting around waiting for an invite when I could be playing WoW.)

Well, Stric and I just played the rematch of last Sunday''s SD/Den game. I convinced him at the onset to just leave Brees in, and then proceeded to dislocate his elbow and knock him out for six weeks.

The game was also eerily similar to the real game, in that Plummer again threw multiple picks, the first being tipped by the corner into the hands of the safety. Q also got his first fumble of the year, after going all of last season without putting the ball on the ground once.

If Denver can ever control their turnovers, it could be a good year.

Hey guys I heard that ESPN added a new ""Continue Season"" option. At the end of the season you can start a new one with the same names, teams and trades...injuries reset though.

Sanj - still lookin for ya bud

Also I''m looking to trade Isaac Bruce (87 overall WR) for a DB with similar overall rating or a good LB/DL

Unfortunately, the pollsters say that your strength of schedule just ain''t good enough to make the postseason, even if you do run the table. Sorry.

(c''mon, you''re the Broncos, Boise''s the Broncos, it just had to come)

Yeah the only big difference was that the Broncos won. That was probably the most exciting game I have played though, it was great right until the end where I threw that pick that you returned for a touchdown. Great game.

Psycho and I just finished our week two game and while it wasn''t the closest game, Psycho was a great guy to play with. Looking forward to a rematch. Unfornately, on a meaningless play near the end of the game, Brian Westbrook got injured. Hopefully it wasn''t too serious.

Also, Grump, I am really happy with our trade -- hope it helps your squad too.

Does anyone (Legion!) know if Logan Frost has a forum name here? I fired him a PM thru the ESPN website but was figuring I''d try thru here as well.

I posted a news article chronicling the lastest happenings in Baltimore. It is pretty silly, but I had fun writing it:

"Associated Press wrote:

Turmoil in Baltimore: Billick, Stewart Gone

BALTIMORE (AP) -- A decision that left many observers scratching their heads may have cost Brian Billick his job. On a rainy Sunday afternoon, Billick benched his young QB, Kyle Boller, in favor of Kordell Stewart, who promptly showed why he has not had a stable starting job in years. Stewart went 7/18 for 123 yards with 2 picks. In the process he set a new career low with a quarterback rating of 23.4. The aftershocks of this dissappointing output left a man once described as an ""Offensive Genius"", a member of the proud 5% (unemployed that is).

Moving swiftly after an embarrassing loss in their home opener to the San Diego Chargers, team owner Art Modell and GM Ozzie Newsome fired Billick over the telephone early Monday. In an emergency press conference on Monday, Newsome announced the firing of Billick. ""In an age of the micro chip and the jumbo jet, there is neither time nor excuse for losing. Billick was brought here to win and only one Superbowl title is simply not going to cut it"" a noticibly angry Newsome proclaimed. Newsome pontificated at great length on the shortcommings of Billick, but this writer has not the desire to further catalogue his arrogance.

In another surprising move, Newsome managed to coerce an obviosly infirm and senile Marv Levy to coach another season. Levy, approaching the podium in a wheelchair, seemed nearly as surprised as the press who were present that he would be the new taskmaster in Baltimore. When asked how he intended to right the ship for a quickly sinking Baltimore offense, Levry resonded, ""If there is one thing I am sure of, it is that Jim Kelly has not only the skill, but also the desire to pursue a fifth Superbowl defeat!"".

Newsome, unfortunately, was not finished. An announcement late Monday evening completed a bizarre Bermuda Triangle of bewildering Baltimore buisiness decisions. Newsome apparently arranged a trade that sent Kordell Stewart (QB) and Adalius Thomas (LB) to the Jets for Quincy Carter (QB) and Mark Brown (LB). Quincy Carter is said to be quite excited about getting an opportunity to start again after being dumped by Dallas.

Neither Brian Billick nor Kordell Stewart were available for comment at the time this article was written.

Good game Pigpen - dude stuck it out until the end, and found a little offense late in the game. Hopefully you can build on that for your next games.

Hmm. It appears Reaper took a pounding from Highlander and promptly dropped from the league.

Karrde and I tried as best we could to get a game in but just couldn''t get a stable connection.

Intern

Sadly my X-Box hates me. 1st 5 tries went something like this...1st try quick touchdown to rice, It disconnects. 2nd try, Grump is pinned at the 7, It disconnects, 3rd try Grump is pinned at the 7 again, It disconnects, 4th try Grump scores a quick TD, It disconnects, 5th try I score a quick TD, It disconnect prompting a flurry of insults from me. I was quite tempted to challenge the X-Box to hand to hand combat until I remembered I want to finish KOTOR 2.

Sorry for the inconvenience I am sure I will cause the league over this.
