WoW Group and Quest Meetup Thread

I'm sorry for yet *another* WoW thread but I think it will help.
Tonight I'm going to put in a few hours in Loch Modan I have quests there that I'm getting almost too high for but I also have quite a few for Redridge/Lakeshire. I'd like to wrap up most of the Loch ones though. If you have some stuff to do there I'll be on around 8PM Eastern.
Anyone else want to post about needing to group so I don't look like another WoW thread starter?

I have a horde char at lvl 6or7 I think, I played a few sessions with Richy and will play abit to get him to 10 for their wednesday nite shindig.

Not to steal your thread but I guess this is a good place to post about missions and grouping.
I am a lvl 21 dwarf hunter on blackhand. I would like to find a few people to group up with for the deadmines quest in stormwind and the van cleef quest in moonbrook. Rumor has it these are both instanced dungeons and you should be lvl 20+. I''m willing to wait a few days for a good group if there are any Alliance GWJ members who want to hook up.
I would love to join you Cope but it will be a few days before I am 20. By then, you will probably be 25+ and you can really thump the mines with us.

I was thinking about doing this for people on the Shadowsong server as well, Eezy. I''ve been grouping up with random people as needed in some of the tougher quest areas, but it''d be nice to know if any other GWJers are in the area.
I''m playing Horde on Shadowsong with a Troll Hunter, Elkspit. There''s also someone on there with Horde char name of ""Crush"" but in total n00b fashion, I forgot to ask who you were (GWJ name). Plus I had the chat skills of an uneducated ape at the time, but that''s since been remedied.

I''m game for questing around tonight. I''ll try to get home from work in time. I just have to finish up ol''sooty (20+) in Loch and then do the deadmines/vancleef stuff. But, I''m just lvl 19 (pallie) though I suspect I''ll be 20 tonight.

Slambie, Spleen and I both have Orcs on Shadowsong as well as our characters on that-too-busy-server-that-shall-not-be-named. Mine is an Orc Rogue named Marlin, about level 5 I think. Perhaps we can join up at around level 10?

I would love to group with someone for Deadmines. I have had it sitting in my log for a few days. It''s a lvl 20 quest, so I think if we get a group of 4-5 17-22ers we should be good. I''m level 18 mage right now, about halfway to 19.

Well I put you on my friends list the other day just in case I ran across you again, Propa. I also try Blackhand first, then turn to Shadowsong if there''s a long wait queue (which has been every night so far).

Had good fun grouping with you guys last night. I''ve heard Deadmines takes at least a couple of hours, let''s setup a time to do that later this week for everyone interested, hopefully we can get a group of 5. Do you guys think we can knock it out on a weeknight, or need to to wait for the weekend?
I need to do find the messenger and escort the traitor still anyone want to help a brother out? I''m up for trying it any time otherwise.
Also I''d like to finish up loch modan, I need the bonesmashers/shamans along with the idols and then the boss Troggs after the BS/Shamans. After that it''s RR quests.

Scout out Moonbrook and if it is camped with people killing the mobs for the earlier quests then you should easily be able to do the escort solo.
Make sure to do the hunting lodge quests up in the NE corner, they are fun and one of the rewards is an ammo bag that reduces the reload time of your gun.

Tycho and I killed sooty last night and I got me a 10 slot ammo bag out of the deal.
Speaking of which I''ve learned a few things over the past few days and I thought I''d pass them on.
Do you know about SHIFT+Right Click? It''s auto-loot, it will automatically put everything from the corpe into your bag. Very nice.
Using my gun for the first time this morning I realized that Rabbits, yes rabbits, raise my gun skill by 2 pionts per shot vs 1pps on larger, tougher mobs. I''m into my early 20''s on the skill and it''s still doing 2pps on rabbits.

Yes, rabbits and squirrels helped me get my wand to 50.
Have you done ogres, ogres crystal and Choksul? There''s also the blow-up dam one.
Cool. I ran into hubbinsd on Shadowsong last night, he just started a new Orc character on there as well.
It turned out to be a night of near misses with GWJ players for me. Hussinsd was just finishing up as I was starting, then just seconds before I was closing down for the night, I got an in-game message from Fang. Now that I know what the chat channel is, I''ll try to hook up with some of you this week.
I made pretty good progress last night, though, despite dying repeatedly in Skull Rock cave. My little troll, Elkspit, is now spitting distance from lvl 13 and has a sidekick, Spike.
For the time being, it looks like Blackhand will be reserved for weekend am play since I''ve generally been successful at getting onto that server early in the morning on those days and Shadowsong will be my weekday evening play location.
