Well who knew there could be so much drama in league sign-ups? I laughed, I cried, it was better than Cats. Thank you to everyone for their patience; GWJFL Advanced is now underway.
Are you ready for some football?
Week 1, with a deadline of 12/4/2004, kicked off today and we open the season with some very interesting games.
Defending champion Grumpicus, now at the helm of the New York J-E-T-S faces a rematch of his GWJFL round 1 playoff game against SpyNavy. With the Sneaky Seaman now in charge of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, it could be a real slugfest.

I can''t seem to log onto ESPN VIDEOGAMES. I can get onto live and play games but can''t access stuff like leagues and such. Is anyone else having similar difficulties?

SpyNavy, that''s going to be a challenge indeed. That''s between 4pm and 6pm for me... and I''m headed out of town on Thursday afternoon. I can be a touch late for work in the morning (just don''t tell them it''s because I was playing video football). What time do you get off work/sleep when you''re on this schedule?

I am usually home by 730am EST... Will you be home on Saturday or Sunday? We could play early afternoon on one of those days - i work 6pm to 6am on Sat and Sun So i could play sometime between 2-3pm for a kickoff as long as I am done by 415pm or so....

I''d like to try to schedule a game for tomorrow so we have Wednesday as a backup in case something happens.
Edit: It just occurred to me that my being out of town this weekend will mean that I won''t be able to advance the league since that has to be done from the XBox (instead of the website). So we all get a little extra time to get back in the swing of things as the league can''t/won''t be advanced until Monday evening (between 8 and 10 pm CST). Sorry for the unexpected delay.
